Ella Hotchner ll 20 ll Daughter of SSA Aaron Hotchner and SSA Emily Prentiss Hotchner ll Twin to...
Updated Bio:
Ella Ray Hotchner ~ 20 ~ Studying Law at the University of Virginia Law School
Bio: Ella is the oldest girl in the Hotchner family, however she's the third child by approximately 26 minutes and 15 seconds, or so her twin brother often tells her. She grew up incredibly close to her big brother Jack, and her twin brother Cooper. She would constantly prove that she could keep up with the boys, and for a while was quite the tomboy. However as her three younger sisters were born, she learned to find balance between both. Ella's very close to her mother, but even closer to her father. She's idolized her dad for as long as she could remember. That's part of the reason she decided to study law. While at times her dad is distant, and hard to reach out to, Ella does her best to keep in touch with him. When she was younger, she always went to her Dad with her troubles. As she grew up she started going to him less and less because of his work and her just getting older. Her relationship with her mom is solid. She confides in her, and often she tries to get her mom to open up as well, it hardly ever works. Ella likes to do little things to spend time with her mom though, and she does all that she can to remind her mother how much she loves her and how important she is.
Ella's relationships with her siblings is unique. Jack is her big brother, and one of the people she goes to when she needs advice. When she was younger she wanted to do everything her big brother did and she would follow him around until he let her tag along. Cooper is her twin, and the person she talks to about things the most. She loves her brother and most of the time, he kept her sane as kids. Ella's relationship with her sisters is a different story. While growing up Ella had to play the mom figure and the older sister figure at times. Emily and Aaron were gone because of work, and while the kids understood, it was hard on them. Ella was always there to make dinner, help with homework, listen to the problems they had, and try to give them the advice they needed. Ella had things scheduled and she'd often make sure the girls laid out their clothes and were ready to for the morning so that it ran smoothly. However Ella did her best to not over step a line with her mother, because at the end of the day, Emily took care of her kids and made sure they were all set. Ella and Veronica bickered when they were younger because at times Veronica wouldn't want to listen to her sister, but as they got older, they worked through it and became incredibly close. Ella and Perrie have always had a special bond, and Ella had a tendency to include her little sister whenever she wanted to tag along, though she did that with all of them, Perrie took advantage of it the most. Avery is Ella's youngest sister and she tends to be protective of her because she's so much younger, and now left to do things on her own more.
In high school Ella mastered the balance of a social life, getting good grades, and sports, though that sometimes cut sleep out of the picture. She was apart of the Volleyball team and Softball team from a young age. Ella was a social butterfly, and was friends with just about everyone, however she had some friends she was closer to. Seeing as she was so close to her godparents, of course she's closer to their kids. Ella always goes to JJ when she needs something or when she needs to talk. A lot of time, she would take her shopping and other things like that. Derek on the other hand would indulge in her more tomboyish side. A lot of times he would take her to football games with him, or to a baseball game every so often. Growing up her two best friends were 3 and 4 years older than her, but that never made much of a difference. Henry LamMontage and Austin Morgan have been Ella's best friends since she was a child. She always went to them for advice and to just hang out. They both have the special ability to lower her stress level. However she also got rather close to Llyod Morgan and Olivia Strauss during her school years. When Henry and Austin went to college and became harder to hang out with, those two filled the slight void that was there, though they never replaced the other two.
With JJ being her Godmother and Henry being one of her best friends, she spent a lot of her time at the Rossi house. So of course she knew their other kids incredibly well. Ella and Colton Rossi have always had a special kind of relationship. As kids he would tease her, push her to her limits until she would get angry with him. Then he'd make her smile against her will and they'd be all better. As they got older Ella started to fancy him, he was her first crush, but only Henry and Austin ever knew it. Eventually she just gave up, figuring he'd never see her as anything but a kid. During her senior year however things changed for them. Feelings were admitted and returned by both, and after a long chat, they ended up dating, something their families saw coming for a long time. Now, after almost three years of dating, she's pregnant with his child, and while the timing may not be the absolute best, she knows they're going to make it work. Both of them are excited, and are preparing for their child.
There's a slight problem though. Since Cooper's pregnancy is causing so much scandal, Ella's pregnancy is being pushed to the side. She wants to not feel upset, and she's trying not to be hurt, but truthfully she is. Though Ella is being Ella, and trying to make things easier on her family, so she doesn't really talk to them about how her pregnancy is going. Things are pretty stressful though, even with all the help Colton provides. They both are working a lot, and dealing with the stress of school, not to mention they're adding a child into the mix. Currently Ella works at both the campus coffee shop and a dinner not to far away from her shared apartment. With that she's still managed to stay on top of her school work as well.
Secret: Even from a young age, Ella's been dealing with stress and pressure. From having to take care of her siblings, juggling her way through high school, and now starting a family prematurely, she's always dealt with stress. Sometimes it builds up though, and she has breakdowns were she just starts to cry until they become sobs, and she can't physically do things until she's relaxed. As always, Ella tries to keep them hidden from everyone.

Between school and work, Ella was beyond exhausted. Her routine for the past nine months has been, get up at six, go to morning classes, go do a shift at the courthouse (an internship), and then go do a shift at the dinner. Ella of course knew that at month nine she was supposed to stop working so much, and she did cut back, but nearly as much as she should have. Instead of working at the dinner everyday she worked weekends and usually once during the week. All of the school work and regular work stress was getting to her. Now, with a couple weeks or so left, she was dragging her feet. Bags hung from beneath her eyes and she looked like a walking zombie.
She had been working the evening shift at the dinner, when the dizziness started taking over. Ella set the tray against the back counter and leaned against it for a moment. Once she regained her balance she took the tray of drinks out to the family they belong to. Giving them her best smile she handed each one to the correct family member. "There you go, are you guys ready to order or do you need another minute?" she asked. The mother smiled at her and said they were ready. Ella got out her pen and started writing the orders down. About half way through her vision started blurring, and there was a ringing in her ear. Before she could even comprehend what was happening, she fell to the ground as blackness took over.
Watching their obviously pregnant waitress fall, the woman called for help. The manager, came over quickly all the while giving orders to call for an ambulance. Leaning down she listened to make sure Ella was still breathing, seeing that she was the manager let out a sigh of relief. "Taylor, find the last person Ella contacted this morning, call the number. Of course try to contact her parents as well please" the woman directed to one of her waitresses. The younger girl did as she was told and called Ella's parents and the last two people Ella had talked to.
It wasn't before long that the ambulance arrived. The EMT's carefully loaded her up, and took her towards the hospital. While examining her one of the EMT's explained that "She's going into early labor. She's either got to be awake before we get to the hospital to start pushing, or the doctors are going to have to perform a c-section". The EMT's exchanged looks and started working on helping Ella gain consciousness. "Hopefully a family member will be there to meet us at the hospital" an EMT spoke. As they were entering the hospital Ella's eyes fluttered open, and the landed on the only familiar person in the room.
So I don't think anyone understands how I am right now!
I'm hopefully popping this little bugger out in a week!

Now I get to begin the joyous search for an apartment. Wish me luck. ~RM
There's some really nice ones for sale at my apartment building! I'm Ella by the way, Ella Hotchner.
Well I've learned something today.
Pretty sure that’s something they tell most pregnant women to avoid. How you feeling anyway?
Well...yes, but it was Wing Wednesday, and the spicy ones looked so good! I'm feeling pretty good actually. Tired, but not too bad. How are you Henry?
Well I've learned something today.
Bump is not a fan of spicy foods.
Open.
It was rare for him to see the members of the BAU family out and about, but then again he rarely saw them. He was always at school, work or elsewhere. “I’m, uh, good, what about you?” He asked, playing absentmindedly with a bag of sweets. “I haven’t seen you in a while, been hiding on me eh?” Alfie had always gotten along with the BAU kids, but he never felt like he was one of them.
Ella probably saw the Anderson kids the least. It wasn't that she didn't like them, on the contrary, she really enjoyed their company, they just never seemed to be around for all of the major things. Ella wondered if her parents and the other BAU team members even invited the Strauss's and Anderson's to major events. She'd like to believe they did, but she couldn't be sure. Ella was aware that all the BAU kids had a special connection. They understood the hardships of being raised by BAU team members, but that didn't mean all of them were best friends. Ella wished they were closer with the other members kids though. Nodding she grinned, “That's good to hear. I've been busy. Getting ready for the little one to come,” Ella answered automatically. She laughed at his question. “Oh yeah, I've been hiding from everyone. No I'm kidding, just been busy. What have you been up to?” she teased.
Open.
Opening the door of his house,Alfie shouted,”Hey?” But only silence as usual met him. Dropping his backpack by the door, he decided to leave again. He hated being his house house, especially being in his house alone. Pulling his coat around him, he made his way in no particular direction, music blasting in his ears.
Stopping at a store, he walked in to get a drink, or food, or anything. Just for something to do. Taking his earphones out, he walked over to where there was a big stall of sweets and chocolate. Before he could pick something, he felt a tap on his shoulder. Realizing who it was, he smiled,”Well, hello stranger.”
Realizing that her fridge was virtually empty, Ella grabbed her keys to go to the store. Lately Ella had been working herself into the ground. Between her two jobs and school she barely had any down time. She was just trying to prepare herself for the arrival of her child. Part of Ella was excited. She had always wanted to be a mother, but at the same time, part of her was terrified. She didn't know how to be a mother.
Wondering around the store she put the things she needed into her cart. The soon to be mother was on a mostly healthy diet, but everyone had to splurge once in a while. Going over to the sweets isle, she found a familiar being. Alfie Anderson had always been the distant BAU kid, at least up until lately. He seemed to have turned his life around, and for that Ella was grateful. The last thing she wanted was for any of the BAU kids to down ward spiral. Tapping his shoulder she grinned at his greeting. “Hey Alfie! How are you?”
I’m glad to hear that they’re being good to you both. One batch of Oreo brownies coming right up madame! I’ll bake some up now and sneak them in :).
You are definitely my favorite Hotchner.
Eh, it's a gift. Though I have to admit, you've gotta be my favorite Strauss. I can't wait to meet my nephew.

Oh My Word, Liv he’s beautiful! I’m so glad you’re both doing well! Do you need anything?
Not at the moment, Ella. The hospital is taking really great care of us. But if you want to bring me Oreo brownies, I definitely won’t object(;
