Swell Recommends - Capturing Cosmic Bliss

Ok so normally we have 5 lovely recommendations for this weekend, but since it's still sunny, we know you are all going to be outside trying to pretend it's still summer! 

So, here is our favorite recommendation for capturing the nostalgia this weekend.

Hardly just another contest, the 14th Annual Cosmic Creek is a retro-style event that harkens back to the more alternative times and styles of the 1970′s & 80′s. An era where single-fins and twins resigned supreme and the best surfers in the world proudly sported super short inseams and wild hair.

Come meet Cosmic legends like Dave Rastavich , Tyler Warren, Chris Del Morro, Rob Machado, Tom Curren and the ever present Donavon Frankenreiter. What you ride in you heat comes down to the luck of the draw. With everything from Ben Alpa Stingers to MR twin fins on offer, its anybody’s game.  The swell forecast shows some of the best waves we’ve seen in a month too!
