Officially a week before Swindle Week! (June 7th-13th)
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
Yes, this is still happening! Yes, ask box is open for any questions. Otherwise, this is just another reminder to save the date if you are participating! Get those WIPs ready, prepare the art, we are in to a heck of a Swindle celebration!
Here’s a short FAQ of some common questions we’ve been seeing (and our answers!):
Am I only limited to drawing TFA Swindle?
 - Nope! While this event is focused on TFA Swindle to commemorate the memory of the late Fred Willard, we are very much welcoming ALL iterations of Swindle (IDW, G1, FOC, etc).Â
Do I have to do every single prompt?
- Nope! Listen, that’d be crazy awesome, but please don’t feel pressured to do every prompt. Our goal is to share the joy of Swindle and for every artist to have fun. If it’s fun for you to do one, or a couple prompts, then by all means do so! If it’s fun for you to do every single one as a challenge, then that is just as awesome!Â
Can I send in my submission and you post it to your blog?Â
- We would highly encourage artists to post on their own social medias, this way we can reblog/retweet/share directly from the source and ensure proper credit is given. If for whatever reason you do not want to post on your own social media and would like to send it in as an ask submission, please let us know beforehand!Â
Is this only for digital artists? I’m a painter/cosplayer/writer/editor/etc.
- We encourage ALL artists from any background and specialty to participate. Be creative, be inspired, we want to see it all! We’ll read your novels and drabbles, consume your sketches and canvases, and will certainly share any art  dedicated to this event. Be sure to tag us (@swindleweek) so we can be sure to see it!Â
