“It sounds like at some point in the near future, we’ll have our night planned out for us.” He winked, laughing. He would definitely find a way to make this happen. Maybe he could find somewhere that would rent him a private room. Or he’d have to turn his bedroom into a stage…Plans already went through his head quickly, cycling through what he would have to do to have this fun and probably incredibly sexy moment with Sam in the near future.
“No one’s perfect.” He agreed. “But I think you’re amazing. You come pretty damn close. At least as lose as I’ve ever seen someone from Lima be.” He admitted. “I don’t know how you do it. Be so sweet and kind despite the fact that so many people out there are assholes” he admitted. “I mean you always see the bright side in everyone.” Including him, but those words got caught in his throat. He wasn’t a good person. He wasn’t a kind one. But somehow that didn’t bother Sam at all.
“My mom is awesome. And she loves you by the way.” He laughed. “A honest to god friend of mine who isn’t using me or bullying me. I think she might want to adopt you.” He teased.
“Of course I would.” He said, one of the easiest things he’d ever admit. He thought about it for a second. “I could pull off Rizzo. Not really packing the right parts for it.” He teased with a laugh. “But I have more of a range for any of the girl parts versus the boys.” He admitted.
"Apparently,” Sam agreed with a laugh. He had no idea how likely it was to really happen, but knowing Kurt, it actually had a strong chance of happening. He was always so willing to go the extra mile and it was kind of cute...and really hot as well. Kurt was always trying new things with him, and Sam loved all of it.
“I’m not always that nice,” Sam said. He did try, though since, well, that was how he was raised. His family lived in Kentucky before he was born and he had always been raised to be a proper Southern Gentleman. Of course, it was especially easy to be one with girls when he had no interest in doing anything but talking with them. He shrugged a little, “I don’t know. I guess I just don’t see the point of getting mad at everyone or judging people.” He mainly just got mad and judged himself, really. He spent years hating himself for not being “normal”, and while he had accepted his sexuality and was in a better place, he still sort of hated himself for being so closeted that even his regular hook-up partner/friend with benefits/whatever didn’t know he was gay.
“It’s not hard being nice when it comes to you,” Sam added after a moment.
Sam smiled, glad to know Kurt’s mom liked him. She was pretty awesome, at least the little he had seen of her. Sam chuckled and pointed out, “That would kinda make our situation a little weird.” Whatever they were, being legally related would make it pretty fucked up.
“Yeah, well you kinda got her vibe going on,” Sam said. “We don’t have to worry about getting your pregnant, though, but that’s kind of a plus.” Sam looked back at the screen and said, “I always wanted to be Kenickie ‘cause he sings ‘Grease Lightning’ in the stage show. Kind of a bummer he doesn’t in the movie.” He thought about what he said for a moment, because it was, uh, pretty gay, right? To know that about a musical? Maybe he had more tell-tale signs than he thought.
Thankfully the doorbell rang soon after that so he didn’t have to think about it. “Oh, man, I forgot we got food,” Sam said, remembering again how hungry he was. He unwrapped his arm from Kurt so they could get up and get it, his stomach growling.
