Danny checked his set up one last time. Yup, good to go. With one mouse click, he was live. Danny’s streaming schedule was irregular, but in between his constant idol activities, he had managed to pick up a decent following of FLOW and general gamers alike. Today, he had something special planned. It would hopefully make up for his particularly long absence. 

“Alright guys,” Danny said, clapping his hands together, smile wide. “Welcome to the stream! It know it’s been a minute, but I’m back and better than ever! Today, we’re going to play some League, a classic, with a very special guest.”

Minseo was not sure how she had been dragged into this. Sure, it would be great for views as Danny had created a more loyal following than she had at the moment (FLOW was nothing if not obscenely devoted). But, it also meant she would definitely be getting hate comments after she crushed Danny’s team. She didn’t mind them, and v-together would definitely come to her rescue, but it would end in an earful from her manager. 

“I’m so happy to play with you Danny. Do we have a penalty for the losing captain today?”

It’s disgustingly early a’clock, and the only reason Mingxia was attempting to stay awake was the fact that her manager would have her head if she fell asleep. There were only a handful of people that she genuinely feared in this business, and her manager was one of them. She suspected that was why the company hired her. On the bright side, they weren’t the only people here. The morning light made coming up over the mountain ridge made a unique scene, perfect for music videos and dramas. Mingxia was her for monthly magazine shoot number something. At least this time her outfit was warm, and styling allowing her range of movement. Taking generous sips from her thermos of coffee, she scanned the crowd out of boredom, looking for anyone or anything that could help her stay awake.

Minseo was not normally asked to do modeling jobs. Sure, she was easily one of the prettiest idols in the industry, so people should have been begging her for her services. Unfortunately, she also suffered from an incurable ailment. Minseo was too short to be a conventional model. Thankfully, no one seemed to care about that today; though, she wished she could be more excited at the thought of being in a magazine, promoting herself without the rest of v-trouble. She muttered to herself as she looked in the mirror, trying to fix her hair. “What do they pay these stylists for? I could have done better than this at home by myself.”

Hyunjae ducks out of his group's dressing room, trying his best not to be seen as he darts for the bathroom. His group doesn't go on for a while so he doesn't think he'll be missed, but the managers have been keeping him on a tight leash for this round of promotions.

It's awkward to be back. There wasn't any big announcement about it, and rumors still swirl around him wherever he goes. It almost feels like he's still on hiatus, especially with his role as a glorified backup dancer for this comeback. It's his own mistake that got him in this position, but it doesn't mean he can't be upset about it.

There's too many people waiting by the bathroom as he gets close, so Hyunjae instead detours towards the stairwell. It's usually quiet, unlike the stairwell at the Inkigayo studio.

Luck isn't on his side, though, as he nearly runs into someone turning the corner. "Sorry, I—Oh, it's you."

Minseo did not expect for this to get any worse, but it had. She had agreed to come to the performances today as a favor for a friend. Unfortunately, they had come down with a stomach bug and hadn’t told her until after she had already arrived. Now, Minseo was left alone and who was one of the groups performing? Imaginair. And of course, as she was attempting an escape without getting caught by the tabloids (v-trouble was the bigger person in all this after all), who did she run into? The person she least wanted to find.

She steeled herself. No way she was going to let Hyunjae of all people see her frazzled. She smirked at him. 

“Hyunjae? What are you doing here? I didn’t even hear you in the new Imaginair single. Did they finally just demote you to backup dancer?”

Minseo was often accused of being competitive, particularly when gaming. Her own sister had screeched at her insisting there was no way to win at Animal Crossing (there totally was and Minseo was crushing it). She had no intention of changing her ways, which was why she had invited them over to play Gang Beasts. It was requested by the streamers and she was eager to boost her numbers. Unfortunately, the fact that it was live meant she would have to curb any swearing or throwing of projectiles. She supposed crushing spirits would have to do.

“Don’t be too upset when I win.”
