Leave it to me to always incorporate a Polaroid concept to make into a fan comic 🤭

Some notes and my headcanons about the details of this comic:

- Ilyukhina’s brought the Polaroid as part of her personal belongings bc it’s one of her hobbies

- Rocky eventually learns how to use it and becomes obsessed with taking selfies although he can’t see the pictures until he invents his radar gadget to see 2D surfaces

- Stratt never shares the photos with her team or the world. She keeps them as a personal memento. Just felt right to honor Grace’s legacy in this private way

In celebration had to finally draw some PHM fanart after seeing it last week. Also got me thinking how thankful Ryland must have been to have rocky there during his birthday after being so alone for a while 😭💕

Luca was one of my favorite characters in the long game and I loved his dynamic with Ilya 💕 wanted to explore how Hollanov takes him under their wings since it was hinted VERY heavily that they may have more in common 😏

This was also a chance for me to indulge and draw more long haired Shane and bearded Ilya if you couldn’t tell 🤭

Continuing my fluffy Hollanov polaroid plot line 🥹

My headcanon is that Ilya loves capturing photos of Shane when he’s not looking during their summer at the cottage 💕 also had to add their first selfie attempt on their Valentine’s Day as bfs - but ilya doesn’t know how to work the camera that way lol

Also I added ilya writing some Russian nicknames for Shane on each of the polaroids 😭💕 struggled with the writing though so for my Russian speakers please let me know if I messed up anything!

Little prequel to the golden hour comic I posted last week about how Ilya got his polaroid - I wanted to explore more interactions between Ilya and Shane’s dad, since Ilya had such a complicated relationship with his own father. I like to imagine Ilya sees glimpses of his mom in Shane’s dad. So excited to see more of the Hollander parents helping my baby boy heal ❤️‍🩹

Golden hour ☀️

My first fleshed out comic panel and of course it’s a scene for Hollanov - I’m deep in the trenches of HR still and have so many fluffy cute headcanons in mind. This moment is a nod to the long game (ilya’s instagram iykyk). I also wanted to imagine shane’s dad feeling awkward at first with Ilya and gives him the camera spontaneously just to break the ice. But this inspires Ilya to take more photos and capturing all these memories he can now make with Shane
