he would buy you your own home library with a ladder, a comfy chair, and so many shelves

you want a book but it's out of print/in another language/hard to get in your country? he'll give it to you over breakfast, just saying that "he has his ways"

loves to read with you while one of his new records plays in the background

keeps track of your favourite authors and pre-orders their new books for you

loves to listen to you talk about books and how excited you get (especially if it was a book he recomended)

also enjoys when you read to him

would read to you if you asked (he could read the phonebook and it would sound heavenly)
