nothing but peace
i wanted to share a song on here that one of my amazing friends released! he describes it as a “melancholic ballad about lost love,” and it is on all streaming platforms now!
(i believe you will love it especially if you like phoebe bridgers, adam melchor, or taylor swift’s more recent albums :))
oh to be at such peace

the song of achilles by madeline miller
florence, hozier, and cosmo are the three elementals: air, earth, and water. no two can collaborate because there must be a balance to the world.
therefore, i propose that all three of them create a song together, simultaneously curing all sadness and bringing harmony to the planet.
it has almost been a year since i posted this and i believe i have come up with a better solution:
aurora needs to be added into this collaboration in order to balance out the elements. hozier stays as earth, he grounds everyone with his deep and powerful voice. he is earth in the way that the forest floor is moist and smells of petrichor. cosmo stays as water, his music flows like a river and is produced with sounds of life. his recordings of nature can provide a backtrack for the song. however, florence now is fire. she is fire in the way that a candle produces comfort and warmth. her voice holds immense power, but she uses the force gently and with care. and finally, aurora is air. her light and breathy voice sounds like pure magic. she embodies the child-like idea of a fluffy cloud and her persona is that of the sky.
hi! if you are currently in high-school, could you consider taking this ten minute survey? no sign in is required and all responses are completely annonymous!
i’m a student myself, researching the affects covid-19 has had on the education and mental health of students! the survey asks various questions about virtual vs. in-person school, and contains a section of agree/disagree statements.
i need to get a lot of responses, so if you see this and could boost it, i’d be incredibly grateful!
By completing this survey, you are consenting to having your responses collected for research purposes. All answers are, and will remain, a

finishing a good book is always bittersweet; you're so excited to get to end, to find out what happens, to get closure, but at the same time, you're losing something that feels like a part of you. something that has occupied your life for days, maybe weeks on end, something that has caused your heart to swell and break. you no longer have that comfort, but part of the story will always affect you, find its way deep into your soul, your everyday life.
My hobbies include reading, writing and doing neither of those things
Hey, do you know that feeling of hitching up a long skirt so you don’t fall on your face when walking upstairs, and then you immediately become a wretched yet resolute Jane Austen character? It’s a universal thing, right?
It’s like resting a laundry basket against your hip and suddenly you’re a long-suffering peasant woman, wondering if you’ll survive the winter.
a shawl wrapped around the shoulders and you’re wandering the moors in a Brönte novel, feeling melancholic
