She was taken on as the cook when it was determined that she is both physically and emotionally incapable of the more... active missions.

Her specialty is Southern soul food and curry, but she's willing to cook anything she can find a recipe for.

The instant pot is her method of choice, but she has no problem using the stove and oven.

Cast iron and glass are superior to any other material.

Aprons don't really cover her chest, so she doesn't wear them.

Because of her disability and shortness, she wheels around the kitchen in a cheap office chair.

She loves company while she cooks. On low energy/bad pain days, it's a requirement to have a body double.

She's a messy cook, so that means a lot of cleaning up when she's done.

Not a dream

Had to run a lot of errands after work and then my grandma called me to ask me to get her some groceries so I had to take a taxi home because I was carrying such heavy bags

I was so hungry that I peeled a mandarin that I just bought at a fruit stand next to the taxi and bus stops and started eating it mid drive

The driver commented that the mandarins smelled like those from his home town

There are only 2 rules when it comes to writing fanfics:

Write whatever you want.

Have fun doing it.

That’s literally it. There is no “show and don’t tell”. There is no “make it realistic”. There is no “fit in with the trends”. And of course, there is no “write as fast as possible to keep up engagement and please others”.

No.

Most fanfiction writers are not professional writers. This isn’t a job, we’re literally writing for shits and giggles. We don’t have a team of editors behind us to make our story perfect. Fanfiction isn’t about creating the most perfect plot with the most perfect prose and the most perfect pacing.

Fanfiction writing is for you first. To make your heart happy. Other people just get the benefit to also enjoy it if they wish.

That’s it.

Write whatever makes you happy, with whatever writing style you want, whenever you want.

3. Be respectful of the original creators requests. I don't know why this one is so poisonous to many. It just comes across as decency. You like the persons works, you like the world and the characters they developed, and then you flip them the bird and twist it into betrayal for dopamine?

Covers anything between 'please don't ship/sexualize these characters, one is a minor' and 'please don't merchandise my work.' Let's be cool to each other while also writing what makes us happy?

Ways to Show a Character is Angry but Trying Not to Show It
