I took these pictures of the New York State Capitol in Albany, NY in September of 2014. It’s a beautiful building with different architectural styles because they kept firing and hiring different architects who had different ideas as to what style it should be. It’s also a National Historic Landmark. Go figure.

I love soooo much how the whole “show” of them “dancing” involves the people doing all the work while The Good Boys walk a few steps, sit, stay, and maybe walk again AND IT’S STILL THE BEST PERFORMANCE EVER! I’ve seriously watched this at least 6 times since I found it yesterday!

Oh.. and if you think that is cute, I’ve got news for you! THERE ARE MORE!! Apparently they do this show at Crufts EVERY YEAR!!!

Starbucks calls the police on two African American men who asked to use the restroom while waiting for a third party

I wonder if Starbucks will see their business diminish after the incident in Philadelphia. Starbucks has been a preachy company touting their business model to the rest of Corporate America, and now this happens.

I heard earlier that when Starbucks first started, only people from a certain income group could afford it. That’s true, its coffee was always overpriced and there was a running joke that when you saw a Starbucks open in a certain neighborhood, it meant that property values were going up. Now, people who couldn’t always afford Starbucks can, and what we have seen is minorities having the police called on them.

I guess we just have to wait to see how this plays out.

Waiting for the Bay Ridge Memorial Day parade in 2011. That hardware store is closed now; it was there for years and run by the same man into his 80′s. When he retired, none of his children wanted to take over, so it closed.
