Failed Blogger
I used to have my own blog, and I failed at it miserably and always got depressed after writing a well thought out entry and no one would view it or leave comments, so I am hoping that this microblog format will better suit me. Yes, I am still thinking about content and just updating as often as I want, but I feel that it doesnt have to be pages and pages of content, that its ok to have entries that are short and sweet.

Sad
It's always hard for me to see Husband leave for the whole weekend to RSP for the National Guard. I dont actually stop him from leaving or give him a hard time, but it doesnt mean that I dont miss him. Im just glad that the weekend that I am babysitting the whole time is the same time that he is gone so it shouldnt be too bad since Ill be working from 6 am to 8 pm saturday and sunday.
Im still trying to figure out how to let the dog out while Im gone without having to leave the back door entirely open, you know just in case someone decides to break in and steal all our stuff.
Going back to Husband being gone, I have no idea what I'm gonna do with him being gone for basic training this summer since he will be gone from the end of May to the second week of August. Im already starting to feel some anxiety about it. :sigh:
Not Cooking
Husband is going to RSP tonight, and since I'll be by myself, I'm totally not going to cook, I am going to eat pizza although I should be dieting.
Higher Education
I recently got accepted to a local university in my town. I really dont know too much about it, but it is the one closest to me, so it just made sense to apply there.
I did not know until last night that they only have a 42% acceptance rate. I was actually quite proud of myself upon learning that because I really do frown upon myself often in regards to education because I am 28 years old and I dont have a degree and because of that, I constantly feel like a failure or loser.
It is going to be the 4th institution of higher education for me. Its not because I am getting thrown out or anything, its just things keep happening and for some reason or another I have to withdraw, but I really hope that this is the place where I finally will earn my bachelors degree.
Crawling
So, while Husband and I are on the foster care hiatus, I am babysitting to earn some extra needed cash. I love taking care of babies because I know having a baby is something that will never happen naturally for me, so it is something I always enjoy, sort of as a maternal instinct outlet!
I've taken care of this baby several times now and the last time was Tuesday and she was just able to scoot around places, but last night I got a text from the baby's mama, and she is downright crawling! It is so exciting to see such a huge milestone come to fruition! Now I really got my work cut out for me, now that she is mobile!
Dog
So, my dog is 12 years old. Shes getting up in age where I realize that shes not going to live forever. Sometimes when she is in deep sleep and I really cant see her breathing, I'll violently shake her, so she wakes up, just to make sure she is alive.
I really dont know what I'll do without her. She and I have a co-dependent relationship. I am her fourth owner after the first two died and then my grandmother didnt want her, and so she has abandonment issues and I have anxiety so we are joined to each other's hip.
She is such an awesome dog and I know there will never be another one just like her, one that just gets me and understands me. :/
Ugh
I always hate waking up with a huge zit on my cheek. Its like where the hell did that come from? It wasnt there when I went to bed.
Redeemed
Sigh... I gave in and got my butt off the couch and washed dishes, and while I was washing Husband surprised me with my favorite Starbucks drink when he arrived home from work! Cue melting heart.
Eloquence
I love how eloquent the people talk in Downton Abbey. Sometimes I wish we all still talked that way, accents and all!
English is my first and pretty much only language, however I grew up in a Latino dominant environment, where now I have a Spanish accent, although I speak very minimal amounts of Spanish! People dont believe me when I tell them I dont speak Spanish.
Here We Go, My First Truth...
I cant stand to live in a messy, cluttered house...
But I cant bring myself to get off the couch and finish folding laundry, put away the dishes, and put stuff back where it belongs, because although I am a stay at home wife and my husband works outside of the home...
I feel he should still help me because most of the stuff that isnt put away is because he didnt put them back where they belong.
