There’s something to be said about the way plush lips twitch, making way for the impending growth of a smile contained with the same sort of rare delight that flashes briefly across a flat gaze. She’s used to schooling expressions into one simple category, a rulebook full of guidelines that she can’t even bear to tear down lest she gives in to the raw transparency of her own thoughts. Geun breaks every single rule in the book and tells her it doesn’t matter. None of it does, she’s learning. “I’ll think about it,” she quietly hums her response, making a point to lace the slightest tinge of playfulness into the folding of slender arms across her chest. “What exactly is my pay for being your babysitter for the night? Answer wisely.”

He draws his hand back in retreat, though his expressions are anything but retreating. Plotting, they are. For a minute he feigns deep contemplation with the pad of his index finger tapping gently against his chin, gaze lifted. "Let's see," Truthfully the question makes him ponder what it really is he has to offer these days besides the fleeting amusement that comes with making a complete ass of himself as usual. He's just hoping that his natural ability to conjure up his so-called witty bullshit is enough to make up for what he's lacking. "Not only are you granted the pleasure of spending your night with someone as handsome as I, you also get an unlimited supply of lame, but also very high quality humor right here in the comforts of your own home." He finishes off with a grin to showcase satisfaction in his reply. He's not satisfied at all but it's a grin so convincingly natural that even he's prone to believe that it is, and it is. The moment his eyes meet with a pair of milky brown irises he seems to find comfort in, all his internal worry simply fades to nonexistence.
