every now and again i think about how kunikida may come off as so “no nonsense, down to business, strict” when it comes to littles/dazai, but despite his appearances, hes just like that because hes a chronic worrier. he doesnt wanna see his baby get hurt or upset :( but on the inside, and when he finally takes a minute to just relax with the baby, hes just a big softie 😭😭💕 it makes me laugh thinking dazai believes kunikida doesnt want to take care of him whereas kunikidas inner monologue is just “omg a baby 🥰🥰🥰 look at those chubby cheeks. 🥺🥺🥺 hes so cute with his pacifier 💕💕💕”

The strictness is absolutely out of love 😭 it’s just how Kunikida shows he cares 🥺 sometimes he’ll be writing in his notebook and then he’ll notice Babyzai just sitting there looking cute and he’s instantly distracted, his notes will change topic halfway in between sentences to make baby notes/observations
