I was going to send my friend a picture of my boobs but he was too sad about Politics. This is why capitalism must be destroyed
Telling a program it can update on the next restart, knowing it lives in a virtual machine. Like, the poor thing doesn't know it isn't real
hey, glad you two girls are getting along, and i don't wanna be a buzzkill or anything, but you've been "socialist fraternal kissing" for about 10 minutes now
this reads very similar to the people who said "lefties calling everyone bigots and fascists drove me to become a fascist"
i guess the only solution is to coddle everyone who has privilege over someone else. unless you're a filthy fucking baeddel separatist

@assembly-official
i got curious today and decided to check out the google search trends for some various topics today and the results are interesting!
as a quick key: red is transmisogyny, blue is transandrophobia, yellow is transmisandry, and green is baeddel. the y axis shows the absolute peak of interest in all of the included search terms, so here april 2015 was when these terms were all collectively at their most popular (and transmisogyny in particular is the dominant phrase. femdom keep on winning) interestingly, "baeddel" was comparatively really popular in that same time frame.
if we remove transmisogyny from the equation, we find that baeddel still hits the top of the charts in april of 2014, followed by another sharp spike in december of 2022
in this chart, yellow is baeddel, red is transmisandry, and blue is transandrophobia. we can see a clear correlation between search interest in transmisandry/transandrophobia with intense interest in baeddels as well.
even more interesting, in my opinion, is seeing where these terms are being searched at. i'll let the maps speak for themselves
as we can see, transmisandry and transandrophobia are exclusively reported in canada, usa, and the uk (and australia in the case of transandrophobia)
i'm not a data scientist, so i don't have a whole lot of specific conclusions to draw. according to google trends, "transandrophobia" doesn't begin to take off until 2019 and "transmisandry" only has a couple spikes of relevancy in january 2016 and july 2023.
my question, i suppose, is "why?"
where is the theory written by and for transmasculine people? if we are to take transandrophobia seriously as a material analysis of the discrimination faced exclusively by transmasculine people, then where is it?
you could argue that it's because transmascs aren't as visible, but is that really true?
according to a study done by the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education and published in the journal of diversity in higher education in 2018, there are twice as many binary trans men in graduate fields as opposed to trans women, and nearly 3x as many nonbinary people cafab
(full study is here: https://bpb-us-e1.wpmucdn.com/sites.psu.edu/dist/c/129541/files/2021/04/Transgender_graduate_students.pdf it's an interesting report and you can see that transmascs have a harder time getting hormones compared to transfems. that's an issue worth discussing!)
91 people isn't a large sample size, but the researchers also explain that they struggled to find this many. so then where are all the academic studies on transmisandry/transandrophobia?
and the answer is obvious, isn't it?
just for funsies, probably not anything important, here's the google trends for misogyny vs misandry vs androphobia
november 2014 is the peak for misandry. hey what other sort of culture wars were happening in late 2014? fucking gamergate
misandry has always been reactionary. it was first coined in the 19th century in direct response to feminism. misandry, quite simply, is not real. trying to slather a quick layer of trans paint on it doesn't suddenly force it into existence.
transmasculine people do face discrimination. there are absolutely problems that trans men face that cis men do not, and those problems should be talked about! but you should really, seriously examine anyone who is trying to sell you on transmisandry or transandrophobia because i promise you there is a cleaner explanation for those discriminations. transfeminism can and does help everyone in the trans community. if you're serious about trans unity, then please actually take the effort to unify with transfems. don't be reactionary.
That study is a really good example of why it's important for researchers to break trans people into subcategories. When you actually study trans women, trans men, nonbinary people (tma), and nonbinary people (tme) separately, you find that we often have very different experiences. Who would have thought? But when I was helping @jojoofalltrades research this, nearly every study I found on education lumped all trans people (and often all queer people) into a single category. Even major longitudinal studies by the NIH.
girl i do not mean this as a criticism only an advice of hard-earned self-love: you have got to develop a capacity to be sexually attracted to your fellow transfems, and like, not be so solely obsessed with cisgender women, because that shit is going to rot your fucking brain.
I'm in my apartment getting stung by hundreds of wasps. The maintenance guy doesn't notice the wasps because he's staring at my breasts (which have grown significantly since he was here not fixing the windows). "It's too cold for wasps", he says. "It's warm inside though", I say, brushing wasps from my hair with my fingers. The maintenance guy rolls his eyes. At exactly that moment I am stung for the 1000th time. I have now absorbed enough wasp venom to communicate telepathically with the wasp queen. With our combined fury, we summon the entire hive to punish the maintenance guy for his misogyny. Later, the wasps realize I've also sworn fealty to the queen of the bees and they turn against me again.
my roommates are cat (the animal) and kat (the person). they both meow a lot, only accept finger brushing, and lose higher cognitive function when offered soup.
baeddelism is when you ask "are there any trans women"
baeddelism is when you ask "why are there no trans women"
baeddelism is when you check how many trans women are actually there
baeddelism is when you think someone might be a trans woman
baeddelism is when you think intersex people can be trans women the same way as people who aren't intersex
baeddelism is when you say someone might be being transmisogynist
baeddelism is when you say you recognise hate against trans women
baeddelism is when you realise transmisogyny targets transfems, even if you don't say so
baeddelism is when you notice a transgender man saying something misogynist
baeddelism is when you notice a man saying something transmisogynist
baeddelism is when transgender women get to speak as much as everyone else
baeddelism is when you say "the state assigns gender coercively"
baeddelism is when you critique colonial gender and recognise transmisogyny at the same time
baeddelism is when you know statistics about transgender women being targetted by violence
baeddelism is when you say trans women are women

You can generate a secure password by letting a cat walk across the keyboard like "popkIJObbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbt76r6adrs@!#!@#". But the cat is a stubborn and mischievous creature and may not repeat the same random walk when you need her to log in for you.
I can't go to work today because I have "bed too soft syndrome"
Note: Bed too soft syndrome is more prevalent in the winter months and is often co-morbid with another condition which scientists are calling "No"
