Toki, I get, in regards to the revengencers’ plan. He’s with the band, he could be a source of information, the other band members might be compelled to go after him, and Magnus can have the satisfaction of getting rid of his replacement if that’s what he’s after.

But Abigail...she’s not in the band. She was a last minute hire by the studio. Can she be a source of information? How? She’s been there for like five minutes. Unless the Revengencers need to know about Dethklok’s jackoff schedule, there isn’t a lot of hardcore intel she’d have access to. I understand that it would be difficult to get Charles, but literally any klokateer would have been a more helpful target. Was she just bait? They already had Toki. Her association with the band isn’t that well-known, outside of the tabloid drama. For all the Revengencers know, they just kidnapped some random woman. Honestly it’s kinda sad how little Abi comes up in the rescue mission.

Anyway, I’m fully accepting the possibility that I missed something.

Maybe Magnus through his "friendship" with Toki leading up to the kidnapping knew that Nathan and Pickles were fighting over dating her? And like they were kinda publicly fighting over her too. They probably kidnapped her because of that and also she was the person relating to dethklok that was sitting closest to Magnus and Toki iirc so it could also have been a wrong time wrong place thing as well
