magic system is that only those who believe that their motive is truly good and for the better are able to cast magic.
ok so there was this god, he created humanity and is the source of all magic. he blessed humanity with magic and they used it wrong by fighting each other and killing, this enraged and saddened him so he gathered up his most loyal followers and asked for input, his right hand man convinces him to blood let to create monsters underneath the surface of the planet for decades, under the idea that faced with a greater force humanity would unite and use it correctly, Mr. right hand man guy and his cult do a ritual to split open the crust of the planet and release all the monsters. right hand man guy and his followers have a civilization in the clouds where he has convinced every one of his followers that everyone on earth needs to die in order for the earth to be healed, this is a lie of course, as he just wants power and control and everyone to die. main character is born in a small village and grows up blissfully unaware of everything happening, but they constantly feel a pull to the center of the earth, unaware of what lies there. eventually though, monsters draw nearer to their village, and they are introduced to the terrors of the world and monsters destroying the village. they are instructed with final words to go to the cloud civilizations and beg for help, once they get there after a long journey, they are turned away because Mr. right hand man doesn't want to help them or let them know about what lies ahead. main character gains and loses friends along the way but they eventually make it to the center of the rift, where the god lies, letting his blood create monsters for eons has drained him so he attempts to fight the main character, but after a brutal fight is convinced that what he's doing is wrong, and his magic stops working, destroying all of the monsters and ridding everyone of magic in the world as he was the source. main character and rest of world have to cope with the destruction, but also have to rebuild and reconnect with everyone
