There’s more Simon/Grace fics in the ao3 tag for Project Hail Mary than there are Grace/Rocky fics now, and while I’m generally ambivalent towards shipping in this fandom in general (I usually just apply my tag filters and move on with my day) I will say. I don’t like that the crossover yaoi seems to be more popular than engaging with the source material’s character dynamics.
