Maybe someone’s said this already, but what if the dragon in the trailer isn’t an arch demon or Morrigan or whatever?

What if it’s Hawke?

What if that’s why you don’t create your Champion in the character creator like your Inquisitor; because Hawke has finally achieved their dream of becoming a dragon?

the new trailer got me going insane because like

i didn't really think bioware would care enough about the dwarfs to do anything beyond 'yeah the veil is being weird and coming down so their resistence to magic will fade. Lets be honest; they haven't put much energy into truly expanding dwarf lore since origins (altho whoever wrote the Hissing Waste map I will love you forever).

But Harding isn't just doing magic in the trailer. She's doing stone magic. She's doing something similar to what Sandal could do with that ogre in the deep roads. She is raising stone and she is turning things to stone.

And this makes me INCREDIBLY hopeful and excited. Because we don't know when Dwarfs came to thedas but its very possible they were here prior to the veil sealing.

What if they worship the stone and the ancestors within it not just because they live in caves, but because they had rituals and magic that specifically was associated with it before. rituals and magic other races couldn't do. What if Harding isn't just getting magic, she's getting very specific dwarven magic which was lost when the veil was sealed.

I'm freaking out gang. Like. Sure elven lore expansions are gonna be fun in this game but I'm ALWAYS down to hear about the dwarfs PLEASE give me information about the dwarfs oh my god

So I have seen several people now playing with the idea that Rook might've actually died at the ritual site and that whatever happened there with their blood and their connection to the Fade/Solas/the Dread Wolf pride demon was something similar to what we know of demon/spirit possession that can bring people back to life...... which would be absolutely insane to me, given what that could imply for the story and also how Solas feels about free will and abominations and... you know, all of that. 😂

BUT (and this is probably the most tinfoily I'm gonna get at this point lol)....

Between THIS and *checks notes*...

The short story "The Wake" implying that Lucanis died some time after The Wigmaker Job, him being called "The Demon" and all the pride demon imagery in his design/tarot card, having people suspect that he was brought back to life by a pride demon.

The devs saying "Manfred the skeleton is not romanceable, but we're not saying NO skeleton romance".

Harding suddenly having magical abilities.

There being something eerie about a lot of the companion tarot cards, mostly because of the glowy eyes that we often associate with possession.

....so I'm just gonna put the tinfoil hat back on and conclude that all this clearly has to mean that.. uh...

Everyone is dead...?

And they're all abominations now, which means that somehow all of them have a connection to some powerful spirit/demon that brought them back to life to join Rook on this final mission to save the world. 😂

Or something like that, Idk, the heat is clearly getting to me. lmaoo 💀

You KNOW it’s funny you should say that because I did actually order THIS EXACT FRAGRANCE OIL to use in my Six of Crows soaps, and it ended up smelling like bubblegum. I had to rethink the whole thing 🤣
