“..If I may ask, what brought upon this sudden interest to learn about hexes and the like?” Not that she was complaining. If she were to decide to teach him, this will just allow her to continue spending time with him. Alone even. Tharja can only hope that he doesn’t decide to suddenly ask Henry the same question.

“Well because tell you the truth, I don’t know much about dark magic. So I thought maybe the best way to find out was to ask you?” Even though he could easily learn the information through reading and such, he much rather have someone else show him examples of things. So this was a good way to get that started.

“…” She grew silent when he began to walk alongside her, tensing up slightly. Oh…this was nice too. Actually, it was much better than staring at him from behind. It took her a few moments for her collective thoughts to finally form a sentence, which she was hardly even able to voice out. “..Yes..like this….also..” Tharja stammered softly, resisting the urge to grab his hand then and there.

It felt more normal for the tactician to be walking side by side with someone. Looking around a bit, Hiro wondered what she was making that required some sort of flower. When he thought about it, dark magic and hexes in general didn’t really make sense to him...That’s when it struck him. “Hey Tharja, you should teach me about hexes and stuff.”

“…Oh..?” She came to a halt, turning her head to look at him. “…I have my reasons.” The main reason being that she could gawk at him without being noticed. Still, she didn’t think it was that obvious. She began to walk again, merely shrugging it off. “..I would have never noticed such a small detail like that. You’re quite observant.”

“Well, I am the groups tactician, so it’s sort of my job to be as observant as I can be.” Walking behind her, it really was an odd change of worlds if some may say. He didn’t like the idea that she only saw his back and hardly anything else. So with that, he picked up his pace to walk next to her instead of behind. “Well, we can always walk like this also.”

“They’re all over outside the camp grounds.” She turned her body as she began to explain, motioning the other to follow her. “The soil here seems to be in perfect condition for them to grow. They’re a light shade of purple. I’d prefer it if we pluck it from off the ground with the roots attached…they make for a good incense.” While the flowers were abundant during spring and such, it was hard to find them during this season. “I was going to ask Henry originally for assistance, but he suddenly vanished to who knows where.”

Hearing what the mage said, the tactician gave a small nod and smiled. “Well if they are nearby then I’m sure we can get plenty of them. With and without roots.” Walking over so that he was behind the mage, a small chuckle escaped his lips thanks to a rather odd thought he had. “It seems like I’m the one behind you this time Tharja. I wonder why you are always fine with looking at the back of my head?” Really, if she didn’t want to answer she didn’t have to, though he did wondered.

It had been a while since he had chosen to use the outrealm portals for his own reasons. Though, he felt like paying a certain counterpart a visit. Really, he wouldn’t be shocked if the other didn’t remember or even thought he was dead. Yet even with these thoughts, he choose to go visit either way. So he made his way towards this realms Ylisstol to see if he could find a way into the castle, or on the off chance, see the counter part himself. Though just like last time, he kept his hood up to cover his face.

                      Though I’ll warn you right now, you touch any of them.

                                And the one to be destroyed will be you!”

Really, Hiro still sort of didn’t understand the whole outrealms thing. Mostly since he didn’t use them himself, though it just felt weird to him to thank about. There could be, in theory, a Ylisse where it’s nothing but his Counterparts fighting Grima. Thinking about it made a small chuckle escape his lips. Though there he was, heading towards the outrealm gate once more. He always made sure to make a habit of coming here every once in a while. Since he wanted to make sure that he didn’t miss anything or anyone. Maybe this time around he would meet someone?

“It won’t take up much of your time. I assure you, you’ll be reading your book in an hour or so.” While she had repeated this hex multiple times in the past week, she was CERTAIN it was going to work this time around. Yes, it was nearing the double digits now, but she had a good feeling about this certain day.

“Really? Well, then I guess we should get moving huh?” Really, Hiro never really had any sort of guard up near any of his soldiers. He had no reason to, though if anything, he would be lying if he said that Tharja didn’t scare him just a bit every once a while. Looking around a bit aimlessly, the tactician then looked back at the mage and tilted his head. “So where should we go to get these flowers?”

“Correct.” The mage hummed softly to herself, her gaze drifting for a moment before her interest was sparked. With slight enthusiasm in her voice, she spoke once more, her posture much straighter than it had been before. “Are you busy at the moment? I require some assistance. There were some wild flowers scattered around the campgrounds and I would enjoy some company as I pluck them from the earth.” To be specific, HIS company would be nice.

That question really threw him off, really he wasn’t used to Tharja inviting him to any sort of thing like this. Really, ‘normal’ Tharja and normal Tharja were both creepy in their own ways, though he got used to it. Yet, he didn’t know if this was a good or bad thing at all. Giving a small nod, he smiled at her. “Yeah, I can help you with that. I was going to my tent to read though picking flowers works also.”

“Welcome back, Hiro. Did you retrieve the items I have requested?” Tharja asked suddenly, placing a hand on his shoulder, a very soft giggle escaping her lips. “I require it to perform….a certain hex.” One that also involved a lock of his hair, something she would keep to herself.

“The frog legs and the flasks right?” Really, the only one Hiro didn’t have to write down was Tharja’s. Not because she ordered the same thing all the time, no she ordered a variety of things. The only reason he truly remembered was because of how odd they were really. He sort of questioned at times what she did with this stuff in reality...

Tharja had been wandering around camp all day, her mind lingering in a mild state of sleep and relaxation, while her body remained awake. She wobbled around with soft sighs, while the people around camp gave her the daily dose of glares she usually got. The mage had been planning on returning back to her tent…until she sensed him. She turned her head quickly, her eyes skimming the area for her target before finally noting him from afar.

“….~” She slowly began to approach him, a delighted leer spread on her usual monotone face.

The tactician had just returned from his run in the town. There was some people that wished for him to grab a few things for them before they went back to traveling. When he finished giving out the things he had bought for the group, he had started to walk towards his tent. Though on his way there, he felt a sudden chill run down his spine. There has only been a few times he had felt this before, so he could sort of guess what was going to happen. So he chose to pay no mind for it.

Mostly so she can have some fun every once in a while, she always did seem to be rather serious to him after all.
