Hydro, try and catch Burrow

“BURROW YOU GET UP HERE AND SETTLE DOWN RIGHT NOW!” Hydro shot a Grapple Anchor out, hoping to hook the little gremlin. What instead happened was Burrow burst out of the surface like a graceful dolphin-tato and grabbed the anchor.

“Hydro! Let’s play dry water-skiing!”

“Wait, how would that even-YIPE!” Without warning, Hydro started getting dragged all over the Foundation’s front lawn as Burrow held his anchor and dig around at high speed. Honestly, the whole scene felt like something out of Looney Tunes and it was decimating the lawn.

“What in sam hill are those two doing!? I’m gonna have to get the whole place landscaped now!”

“...and that’s the long and short of it, I suppose.” Prescott said to Lalinde over the speakerphone in Johnny’s office. “Until I can refine my theory and figure out exactly how to help Hydro in the long term, precautions have to be taken. I’ve already explained everything to my own bots, and I hope I can count on your daughters to help out as well.”

“We understand if you’d rather not be involved, Noele.” Johnny added. “Goodness knows Alex and I feel like real heels calling you just to ask you put your kids on the front lines like this. But with how often Hydro comes to visit Synth, we felt it was best to let you know to be prepared for the worst.”

“Oh, uh, I forgot to tell you, Alex. Burrow’s taken to making his own costumes for Halloween in the last couple years.”

“Alex, do robots really get meaner when you convert them to combat units?”

“I’m not sure. That rumor has been around about as long as Robot Masters themselves, but I don’t know if there’s ever been a proper study conducted. Why?”

“Why do you think? Hydro’s a fighter now, and he’s clearly got a bigger fire in his belly than before. I’m asking if it’s something we should worry about?”

“Right, I forgot about that...I suppose all we can do is keep an eye on him and hope nothing comes of it. If it does, Beetle and Scimitar can hold him down long enough for me to deactivate him and I can go into his coding to take care of that fire myself.”

“Don’t suppose it would have anything to do with my reregistry, would it?”

“...wait, are you serious? I’m street-legal again!?”

“Mm-hm! Johnny got the papers in the mail just this morning! I say the two of us go out to celebrate! We could get a nice meal, take the chance to catch up on-”
