guys, I'm gonna be blunt and honest, I know I'm on a platform writing × reader fanfiction on cortis— but these are real people with genuine feelings and private lives. they may feel fictional in fancultures, especially spaces where fanfiction is exchanged, but these people EXIST. with real families, friends, experiences and dreams. they love and they lose. their actions impact the world and bring consequences like yours and i's do.
ahn keonho is a 16 year old CHILD. SIXTEEN. he is a CHILD. it was disturbing to see the amount of people at that airport in those videos, let alone those who actually swarmed him. he was clearly distressed, and no person should be subjected to such lengths of idolization that we forget he is a HUMAN GROWING CHILD. forgive my capitalization, but genuinely understanding his youth sends actual shivers through my spine.
he had to run from those grown women and people mobbing him, his manager had to fetch his shoes later. he was barefoot at an airport as a child. anyone on Tumblr or cortisblr as a grown adult idolizing these teenagers to such an EXTENT— take a step back. genuinely. it's getting to a point where these children are having their boundaries crossed multiple times by grown people in public spaces.
