Currently thinking about how in DMC5 Nero tells Kyrie how she and Credo were all he had growing up, and then as he’s running to stop the twins how Nero hates himself for not being strong enough to save Credo - and then I think about that scene on the bridge in DMC4 and Nero saying something like that’s not a face you greet an ally with and like it feels like Nero teasing Credo for his stern face, but then Credo is actually betraying him.

It’s just extra painful in retrospect.
