Extra Credit Pt1 — Popular Yandere x Nerd Reader
You sit alone at the edge of the cafeteria, hidden behind the fortress of your laptop screen and a wall of untouched fruit cups. The noise around you doesn’t register—voices bounce, shoes squeak, laughter surges in waves—but you’re too busy organizing your notes for the third time today.
And then he walks by. Atlas Crowe. Of course his name is ridiculous. So is the way people orbit him like planets caught in his gravitational pull. Varsity captain, head of student council, the boy they built statues of in the hallway with yearbook spreads and committee photos.
You barely exist in his world. Or so you thought.
“Hey,” he says one afternoon, leaning over your chemistry homework like he belongs there. “You’re the smart one, right? Help me out.”
It’s innocent—too innocent. But then he starts sitting with you. Every. Day. Abandons his throne in the center of popularity to share vending machine meals and Google Docs. People start whispering. You start second-guessing every glance, every compliment.
“You know,” Atlas says one night while you tutor him, voice low and too close, “you’re kind of mesmerizing when you explain quantum theory. Like you’re speaking a foreign language, only I want to learn.”
You freeze. His hands are too clean for this. His face is too pretty. His locker is filled with notes and candy, and here he is—eyes locked onto yours like you’re the answer to a question he hadn’t dared ask until now.
Soon, your blog gets flooded with anonymous messages quoting your writing. Someone starts following all your playlists, liking posts seconds after you publish them. You mention offhand that you’re into niche documentaries—Atlas starts referencing them in class presentations as if they're his new motto.
You overhear one of his friends complaining. “She’s weird, dude. Like, no offense, why are you into her?” Atlas smiles, soft and eerie. “Because she’s not into me,” he says. “Yet.”
And now, there’s glitter on your desk. Not the fun kind—the invasive, sticky kind that somehow spells your name on his notebook. The whole school watches as the golden boy trades stadium lights for late-night texts about your favorite books and obscure philosophers. But it’s not romantic. It’s quietly terrifying.
One day you log into your private study server and find a folder: “She Who Taught Me Devotion.” Inside are transcripts of everything you’ve ever shared—academic papers, chat logs, notes you thought were deleted.
Atlas finds you at your locker, smiling like a sinner blessed by obsession.
“I’m popular, yeah,” he says. “Everyone wants me. But you? You made me need you.”

you loved hollis. no, it wasn't a weird love. you loved him like a brother. he always took care of you when roman couldn't. sure, roman was a great older brother, but there was times that he forgot you existed.
especially during middle school, when having a girlfriend was the coolest thing to him.
I am lowkey having fun revising math for my entrance exam for highschool.
Older brother - Katsuki
Prompt - You’re Kirishimas little sister who unfortunately has a not so tiny huge crush on his best friend Katsuki Bakugou. Except you are not even on his radar, even with Kirishima bringing you to every possible hangout…until.

Part 2
“C’mon Y/N—Iida is totally head over heels for you!” Mina whined as you got changed into your cheer uniform. You just shrugged your shoulders at what she was suggesting— Iida was nice but you didn’t like him.
“I know but it’s just—“ you chewed your lip as you tried to make up a reason why you couldn’t like Iida back. No one knew of your crush on him. “He’s just really not my type”
Mina groaned in frustration and shut her locker a bit too harshly at your response. She has been trying to set you with a date to the end of year party your brother’s football team are hosting—the same team that he plays on. The same team where he and Kirishima became best friends.
Your older brother’s best friend was who you had the biggest crush on that almost consumed your every thought. You made your way out to the football pitch and immediately picked him out in the line up of players. His red eyes completely looking through you— you may as well be invisible with how he treated you.
Katsuki Bakugou— your crush.
The whistle blew and in a whirl of tension, screams and heavy breathes the game ended just as quick as it kicked off. You stood with the rest of the cheer team greeting and congratulating each player. Mina’s pink hair bobbled as she swung her arms around your older brother—Kirishima. Basically your first best friend. You two were the perfect siblings who knew everything about each other. Well everything except your secret crush on his best friend.
You immediately found his face as he followed behind Kirishima. He gave grunts of acknowledgement to the girls as he passed them, some fawning and those were greeted with a whisper of a smirk on his gorgeous face. That smirk made your stomach flip in hopes he’d flash it your way but he didn’t even glance down at you as he walked by—always nothing.
No nod, glance or whisper of recognition. Hes always been this way to you from the minute Kirishima introduced you and you couldn’t help but wonder why. Sure its Katsuki, you could shrug it off as thats just how he was but even he graced people he became aquatinted with a nod or grunt.
You got nothing—being Kirishimas younger sister didn’t give you any leeway.
You just drooped your shoulders as you followed back into the changing rooms and got changed. Why couldn’t you just like someone else? Anyone else for goodness sake!. You mentally slapped yourself for your stupid feelings.
…
You slumped against the island in your kitchen, spoon in hand as you swished it around in your almost finished bowl of cereal. The soggy mess just making you feel more down—another night thinking about those red eyes, blond tuffs and gruff voice that made your stomach flip.
The end of year party was right around the corner and Mina had seriously began to dig her heels in about who you would go with, even though you insisted you could just go alone. What was so wrong with that? Being alone, seems to be your life now. Alone— eating soggy cereal after bedtime, living the dream—not.
Your eyes flicked up to the light that flickered on in the hallway at the kitchen door. Katsukis frame came through straight after. He came to a pause as his eyes settled on you before quickly looking away and moving to the cupboards. The knuckles on your fingers were growing white and your mouth grew dry as you couldn’t help but gawk at the man before you—shirtless. He was shirtless! In front of you.
Its happened before, of course. Being on the cheer team and travelling to games you’ve seen all the boys change and he often stays over at your house, like right now. But it always brought back the same wave of jittery emotions. You couldn’t help your eyes that wandered up the muscle on his back, down to his biceps and then forearms where veins bulged with little pressure as he poured himself water.
Katsuki turned towards you, propping his back on the counter as he sipped at his cup. Your leg was bouncing with energy and you immediately averted your eyes back to your now gritty milk—cereal dissolved, like any words you wanted to say. A part of you wanted to just say hi, willed your mouth would just move and push out the word but every time you glanced back up he was already looking at you—and this time he was really looking at you.
Maybe for the first time ever.
Your lips parted once again and you cleared your throat—now, do it now, just ask him why he doesn’t like you! You were almost there, hyping yourself up when he spoke first.
“Don’t come to the party on Friday. You’ll ruin my night” he said it so quietly but it felt like he shouted with how your chest tightened and stomach bubbled with sickness—spoon clattering against porcelain as it fell from your hand.
Ruin his night—you..you being there will ruin his night. Is that how he sees you? Your mere existence bothers him so much.
With that he emptied his glass and walked out without another word or glance at you and when he did your glossy eyes poured over onto your cheeks as you sniffled alone in your kitchen. Why did you like such an asshole!.
…
The party was tomorrow.
You had cried almost every night thinking about what Katsuki had said to you. You even skipped cheer practice to avoid seeing him as much as possible. Claiming you were sick. You weren’t fooling your best friends though, or your brother.
How could you explain that Katsuki detested you so much that you would ruin his night.
So why did he hate you?
You had never treated him badly, never rude or mean to him. You never went out if your way to be overly nice either but that was just because he was a difficult person to get comfortable around.
Sometimes you wish you could talk to someone about it but who?. Your brother? Absolutely not.
How could you explain why Katsukis words hurt you so much? How could you tell your older brother you liked his best friend? That was always such a strict rule of his as well which is why you kept it so secret even from your friends. Mina no doubt would have tried to set you two up but it was always his one biggest rule.
Don’t date my little sister.
And you thought you could stick to it too. They were older than you, not by much but none of them interested you until Kirishima befriended him.
Katsuki Bakugou—the boy who basically haunted your dreams, the many, many you had of him. It didn’t help either with how integrated he became in your family, basically to the point he came on some of your holidays but it made no difference. He still treated you like you are invisible.
And right now you really wished that.
You just sunk down into your bed and thought back to what happened yesterday at Izukus house—grimacing at the memory of basically the second time Katsukis ever properly spoke to you and it was to say the same thing he told you the other night.
You pulled open the bathroom door and stuttered in your step forward at Katsukis chest in front of you, looking up to already find him peering—more like glaring back down at you. Your fingers curled tightly around the door handle as seconds ticked by without a word.
Agonising seconds..
“Seriously you better not show up on Friday” he stated once more and brushed by you into the bathroom. Your bottom lip wobbled at his words. you just sighed and walked back to the living room.
Katsuki on the other-hand leaned over the bathroom sink, knuckles white with how tightly he was gripping the porcelain edge. He was glaring at himself—the image of your wobbly lip and glossy eyes front and center in his mind. He dropped his head at the imagine squeezing his eyes to tight in an attempt to will it away. It made his stomach bubble uncomfortably knowing he upset you.
It’s the last thing he has ever wanted to do but he has to.
Katsuki has had these feelings for you ever since Kirishima introduced you. He was smitten, head over heels, totally— whatever. He liked you a lot and it bothered him so much. He thought about confessing countless times to you and risking his friendship with his best friend but he always denied himself of that and instead pretended you just don’t exist in his world.
And it was hard because Katsuki was selfish. He was selfish about his food, his clothes, even on the pitch he hogged the ball to score—which he never missed. But you are the most selfless he’s ever tried to be because it wouldn’t be worth it. He knew you didn’t feel that way about him. Mina always whined about you having no crush when she was with Kirishima.
He didn’t want to tell you not to come but he couldn’t help it, especially after what he heard Iida saying in the locker room away from Kirishima. He was planning to ask you out at the party and that was the last straw, as selfless as Katsuki tried to be with you he couldn’t let that happen. Seeing you and that annoying head of year together? He’d lose the head of himself.
Katsuki couldn’t help but be selfish when it came to you this time.
…
Your head hurt from the loud music pumping downstairs as you stumbled up to find a bathroom. You came to the party—mostly against your will but both Kirishima and Mina reassured you whoever told you not to come wouldn’t bother you and he didn’t because you hadn’t seen him like at all. It was well into the night now and you were growing tired still a bit uncomfortable—too much to properly let yourself go compared to your friends.
Ururaka and Mina hadn’t stopped dancing all night. Jirou and Denki were taking turns to DJ and everyone else just kept drinking. This was your third attempt at walking into the wrong room—ew gross Shoto and Momo are so getting it on. You did not need to see that. A sigh of relief pushed by your lips as you finally found a free bathroom but your eyes quickly fell onto the boy slumped over the bath.
Katsuki.
Your stomach flipped as you stared down on him. His cheek resting on the edge of the tub, eyes shut and some drool left on his chin—what should you do? Help him? He wouldn’t help you. You just sighed heavily and stepped inside closing the door behind you. He probably wouldn’t help you but you weren’t him. You were nicer.
You grabbed a cloth from the sink and rinsed it under cold water crouching down and wiping it against his damp forehead. His hair sticking back down as you moved it to his cheeks and finally the drool on his chin. Katsuki stirred at your actions and you shuffled back as he blinked his eyes open to find you in front of him. He stared and you stared back, waiting for something, anything to happ-
Your lips opened in a sharp gasp as Katsuki tumbled forward towards you. His big hands grabbing at your forearms and pulling you into him. You fell forward onto your knees between his legs as he nudged his face onto your shoulder and held you close—thump, thump, thump your heart was going to explode from your chest. Katsuki’s hands curled up around your shoulders and he slumped his heavy weight against your body. You remained entirely still at the new position, eyes wide with absolute shock, hands limp in your lap.
“U-Um Katsuki?” This hand to be a mistake or—or a dream. Something other than what it is! Katsuki the boy who pretty much told you he hated you that you would ruin his night if you came was hugging you, tightly.
You pulled back slightly from his grip and he let go, big arms falling limp at your side as his head continued to loll forward. He’s passed out again! You quickly grabbed his face in your hands to try and hold his lump of a body up. Katsuki was heavy and built from all his training. His eyes once again squinted open to meet yours and he smirked at you—that smirk. The one that makes your knees feel weak and panties warm. He leaned forward in your hold so close to your own face that you could smell the alcohol on his breath.
“H-Hey Gorgeous” Katsuki hiccupped and the nickname made your cheeks warm and mind fizz with all kinda of rude thoughts. You quickly regained yourself and shook them out of your head.
This wasn’t right. He was just drunk. He didn’t actually like you.
You let his face go and he fell forward just barely catching himself with his hand on the tub. His head following your movement as you stood up, brows furrowed as to why you were leaving him—You never left him before in his dreams, why now? You bit your lip as you thought of what to do, could you leave him here safely while you searched for someone to help you? Or could you get him back to his room by yourself.
In your time spent mulling over what to do with the drunk boy at your feet he had managed to stumble up on wobbly legs. Katsuki grabbed at your wrist pulling you from your thoughts, even though he was unsteady and was almost hunched over trying to keep himself up he still stood as tall as one could over you. Your heart still hadn’t slowed down—in-fact it felt as though it was speeding up. You licked at your dry lips staring up in silence at Katsuki.
Thump, thump, thump. The only sound between you was the music coming from downstairs. Katsuki had yet to say anything. He didn’t know what to say, never did say much when he dreamt of you always just held you or kissed your pretty face—yeah, he loved kissing your pretty face. He couldn’t help himself as he brought a hand up to cup the side of your warm cheek and clumsily lean himself down stopping short of just brushing his nose against yours when you pulled yourself from his grip.
Eyes wide and breathless—he was going to kiss you! Katsuki was trying to kiss you!?. Katsuki furrowed his brows at your behaviour, he was dreaming right?
“Whats srong gorgeous? W’c-mere” he was a jumble of words as he stepped forward again towards you.
“U-Um Katsuki, I think we should get you to bed” You forced the words out in your slightly confused state. One part of you was slightly uncomfortable after all he gives off the impression he hates you and the other part of you is screaming silly at the thought of your biggest crush ever wanting to kiss you.
Katsuki flashed his teeth at your suggestion. This dream was getting better. He grabbed at your hand held towards him and tripped over his own feet as you guided him down the hall. You knew from coming to see Kirishimas dorm that Katsukis was right beside it—he also had a skull poster on the outside of his door.
You slowly opened the door and stepped inside growing incredibly more nervous the more time you spent alone with Katsuki—this was literally the most time you have ever spent with him. And yet the more rational part of your mind that you pushed so far back was yelling at you.
This is your older brother’s best friend!
Katsuki stumbled his way onto his bed rolling over onto his back with a groan and staring at you almost expectingly. You just twisted your fingers together and cleared your throat, throwing a thumb towards the door.
“O-okay um I’m gonna head back to the party. D’you need any thing? Water?” Bakugou furrowed his brows once more eyes narrowing at you.
“You”
Thump, thump, thump, thu-
Okay seriously your heart just exploded at what he just said. You? What-what is that even meant to mean. He wants you? What about you does he want. You swallowed thickly watching him swing his legs round to sit on the edge of his bed very haphazardly.
“C’mere y’not leavin’ me so—so” he coughed up a hiccup “soon? No-not ready for this dream to end”
Your eyed widened at his words. He thought this was a dream? This whole very, very real situation that made your skin prickle with nerves was a dream—wait. Katsuki dreamt about you?. That thought made your cheeks blush. You just shook your head in response and maybe the alcohol you babied earlier had finally caught up to your mind made you let out a small giggle.
“Katsuki you aren’t dreaming” you watched his narrowed eyes slowly widen at your words, brain sobering up just slightly.
He wasn’t dreaming? Katsukis heart dropped. He held you, spoke to you, called you gorgeous—he tried to kiss you. He had royally fucked up, seriously. He quickly stumbled up towards you and you immediately began stepping back, as much as your body wanted to feel his warm hands on your body again—he still made you nervous. He tried to kiss you earlier after all.
“Hit me” your eyes widened at his request and you just shook your head vigorously. Katsuku just stepped closer and closer until your back reached his door. He let out a deep sigh and brought both hands on either side of your head, flat against the door.
“Se-Seriously hit me if this i-is a dream” he hiccuped even still. Your chest felt so tight from the breath you were holding. He was so close to you once again, big warm body close to yours. Your skin prickled still with goosebumps.
“T-This isn’t u-um a dream. You passed out in the bathroom and i-i wanted to help” you finally took a breathe and Katsuki groaned at your words.
How could he let this happen. It was his fault—he drank as much as he possibly could before you arrived in hopes he would pass out in bed, not in the bathroom for you to find him. Of course you found him, out of everyone and of course you helped him.
“I-I” he pulled away from you entirely and turned his back to you “get out.”
Your stomach dropped from your chest at his words. Okay—it definitely was the alcohol now that had your hopes so high, why would he want anything to do with you. It’s katsuki, he probably thought you were someone else but still you couldn’t help yourself from asking.
“Wh-why did you try and kiss me?” Katsuki paused just before his bed and looked over his shoulder at you. His lip pulled between sharp teeth as he mulled over his words.
He seriously hated himself for what he was going to say.
“Thought you were someone else”
