Miniature effects in Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). Fantasy II Effects returned from the first film to handle the future war sequence and the Cryoco truck tipping over, while the nuclear destruction of Los Angeles fell to 4-Ward Productions.
COMPANION (2025) dir. Drew Hancock TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY (1991) dir. James Cameron
Every so often i think about the baked in premise of the terminator and start laughing uncontrollably. Imagine, fucking imagine being at war almost your entire life. You're really close to your buddy Kyle. For some reason you are the leader of this rebellion and are kicking robot ass on the daily. And somehow the robots find out time travel and are intent to kill your mom before you are born. And you turn to your buddy and say 'go back in time and protect her man' knowing as you have probably your entire life that your buddy is your father and you have just sent your best friend in the world back to the 80s to fuck your mom. You know without a shadow of a doubt that your friend is so incredibly horny and down bad for your mom within two days of knowing her that he will discard all qualms he has about sleeping with her. Because the alternative is you'd never be born to be his best friend. He somehow will not discover the fact that he is your father before he dies and also you know doing this will get him killed
