I honestly doubt I can say something new about this guy that my followers don’t know already.
Vic’s job is a consciously made choice. His father was a criminal, Joe Cabot, who is/was practically his step-father was a criminal, his friends were criminals.
However, something that happened when he was 10, something that his father did in front of his eyes changed a lot in him. Vic thinks that “the beast” inside him was born that day, but maybe it was just a trigger to unleash the predisposition he already had in him.
The other traumatic experience he had when he was 13, and it had to do with sexual abuse. He never talks about this, and it seems like it had almost no impact on his life and his behaviour. In fact, it changed him, too, only in another way.
Vic is a former addict. He used from time to time like many of his friends, but after his mother's death he spent a year on the very bottom of L.A., tasting every drug he could find, trying to cease the pain and to find something that could hold back or replace “the beast”.
He is a chain smoker, and it has to do with the addiction. He drinks alcohol rarely, mostly when something really bad happens and the stress is overwhelming, but he smokes almost all the time. If he can’t smoke, he shews the gum.
He has some light form of OCD. Stuff that belongs to him in his car and in his house should be always in its place. If someone takes his things without asking or displaces them, he snaps and it’s ugly.
Speaking of which, he has a huge problem with controlling his anger. When he works, he just lets it go, lets his “beast” free, but in the life beyond killing and tormenting people, it can turn his existence and the existence of people near him to hell.
He has a mild claustrophobia after 4 years in prison. Most of the time it doesn’t show itself, but when he’s already stressed he has problems with staying in closed and narrow rooms.
