Me when Carrie snaps and kills all those people at prom:
My comic book hyperfixation ended around last year, but I can still always recollect that villians are some of my favourite characters in comics. I remember my tumultuous relationship with batman. I want to call him a horrible person, but I actually do really like him sometimes. I just get to demonizing him because his villians steal the show and make themselves more interesting.
In large part, I'd say Batman's villians are almost embodiments of societal outcasts. Two-Face and Black Mask embody the horrible pain of never being able to express one's sense of self/never having a sense of self. Two-Face is a man with anger issues and paranoia and severe issues, and nobody offered him help until he was too far gone. To a more extreme extent, Victor Zsasz is the serial killer embodiment of existenalism. He's a bored rich man who lost it all, realized life is horrible and unfair, and now he kills to "save" people from the pain of the world.
Joker is a lunatic who's all too aware he's insane. He's so mad that he can't even remember his past. But he just loves to spread chaos, a man lashing out in trauma and insanity. The Riddler is the product of an abusive home, and he's also gleefully insane (Frank Gorshin made that clear). The Penguin is a man who desperately wants to be from high society, but he's really just a crude man desperately trying to attain what he'll never have. He wants money, money he'll never be able to obtain.
These people are not really traditionally evil to me. They're just funny and entertaining and emotionally damaged victims. I find I usually react to villians with a sympathetic eye. Unless they're 100% evil and I actually have been sold on their monstrous nature, I will usually find them more fun than anything. Lord Garmadon and Master Chen are the real stars of Lego Ninjago when they're on camera. Team Rocket steal the limelight on the pokemon anime. Starscream was the one character I really liked when I watched 12 episodes of the 80s Transformers. Villians often get more nuance or comedy than their heroic counterparts, or they become something that's just really relatable to me.
it’s so sad to see a dog be denied a sniff

Dear almighty god,
I have a question and I hope you can help.
I heard you ask whales, so here you are (all I ever ask are 3$ but I never get payed...😭... ugh never mind)
So here's the question:
I fell in love with a medium. But how shall I tell her? How do I tell she likes me, too?
Thank you for your help!
Yours sincerely,
Crystal ball anon 🔮
Thank you for the whales, crystal ball anon.
But between a medium and a fortune teller with a crystal ball, at least one of you should be able to figure out if the other has a crush on you. She might already be aware of your feelings. You might already be subconsciously aware of hers, as well, but just don't realize it.
Think carefully about her behavior, body language, what she says to you and how she says it. If you pay attention, you can pick up on quite a lot.
That being said, if you're looking for something and not finding it, that may be because it isn't there, which is can be difficult to accept.
Does she initiate contact with you about as often as you do with her? Or are you always the one reaching out?
When you reach out to her does she respond quickly and make an effort to continue the conversation? Or does she give short answers and never ask you any questions? As if she is just trying to get your conversations over with as soon as possible?
Does she really listen to what you have to say, and seem interested and engaged? Or does she seem bored and disinterested?
Does she want to learn more about you and the things important to you? Or does she only ever want to talk about herself and the things she cares about?
Just examples to think about, though every person expresses their interest differently. Some people are shy or more covert with their feelings than others. Some people actively avoid or are hostile towards their crush, even--which isn't usually a healthy way to handle it, but it something else to look out for.
You know her better than I do, so ultimately you'll have to decide if her behavior towards you is indicative of a crush.
But, if you want to confess your feelings in a way a medium might appreciate, you could always use a ouija board.
