I wish modmakers for games would understand that AI thumbnails for their mods just really play against them. You don't need a fancy piece of art for a thumbnail either, literally just. Grab MS paint. Make a shitty edit. These sort of thumbnails are just far more endearing anyways. On that note, here's some funny VS mod thumbnails:
