i've been reading through your blog and though you say you've had no acting experience, i find many of your analyzations and advice very helpful. i don't think viewer opinions could get any deeper and more valuable than yours. i was wondering - what is your opinion on the actors for the stark children?

I really like the child actors. My favourite of the 4 has to be Maisie Williams. I think she started strong and continues to have a good performance. Once in a while she didn’t hit the mark, she wasn’t in her best moment this past season, but she recovered towards the end of it. Isaac is also pretty good, but unfortunately this season didn’t give him the right opportunities to show his skills. I think he wasn’t good this season, but was in the past ones. I saw nothing outstanding and that kinda disappointed me. I’m hoping he gets back on track next season. Sophie Turner is on the list of most improved performances in the show. She started really weak, having issues with her line delivering in terms of the tone and diction, but towards season 2 she worked on it and was able to overcome some issues she had. Her growth as an actress surprised me in 2 or 3 moments in season 3. I think she needs more acting training to polish her skills. She’s not always good, and sometimes her performance is flat, redundant and just very green, but she has her good moments. I would definitely like her to be more consistent. Finally Art Parkinson was cute and I liked his performance in this season. It’s hard for me to say whether I think he’s good or bad because we barely get to see much of him. I find his little crying moments good, but I’m not able to determinate if he’s good or bad in general just by that.

Hi! You're amazing :) Question: don't you think that Art Parkinson is a REVELATION? (I think he's much better than Emilia or Kit...)

I think in this episode he was good. Honestly, I do think he can show more face expressions than some of the older cast members in this show. But, I wouldn’t affirm what you are saying, just because I don’t feel I have much material to support that. I think I’d rather say he was good, without comparing his work with others. His acting speaks for itself, and he could have easily carried more lines and responsibilities, if he had been given the opportunity.

So Rickon finally got some lines on past episode, and I really think he did well. I actually felt his sadness.

Yes! I think Art Parkinson did a good job. The scenes were definitely a surprise in terms of dialogue and character development (even if it was a little). 

I’m pleased about it, and actually happy with the change they took some time ago.

it's so great that on got commentary when donald sumpter appeared every actor was like: "he is so great, his voice is amazing, he has so many layers in his acting." and i remember that you named him one of the best got actors. what moments of him do you like the most?

Hi!

Yes, he’s one of the good actors on the show. He’s the kind of actor that all the sudden you notice everywhere, and realize you’ve been seeing him in almost everything, but didn’t realize it was him. I thought he was good in the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. 

what moments of him do you like the most?

All of them. Can I answer like that? lol

Well, my favourite it has to be Luwin’s death scene with Natalia Tena, Art Parkinson and Isaac Hempstead. He was really good (He made me cry, and is hard to make me cry for a movie or tv show). I remember reading that part on the books, and it was really unexpected, and I knew it was going to happen on the show, but wow I wasn’t expecting to be so moved by it. I think all the actors were good in that scene, but it was certainly his performance that set the mood. 

I’m searching my brain trying to find a scene I didn’t like him on, and I can’t find it. His work was great throughout season 1 and 2, and he worked perfectly with all the actors. However, my favourite moments of the character and his performance, have to be when he worked with the younger actors. 

I think he’s probably the actor to go to, when there’s need to cast characters such as Luwin. Good casting.
