Lena kisses her teeth. 

(Lena): Spice district. Start talking.

(Dimitry): What makes you think I’ve got shit to say?

(Lena): Do I look like a dickhead to you?

(Dimitry): [Sighing] Look, I don’t have time for this Lena. I don’t know shit and even if I did I’m not a fucking snitch.

(Lena): No, you’re a rat. So do what you do best and name your price.

(Dimitry): It’s not worth the risk.

(Lena): The fuck are you on about?

(Dimitry): Lena, you've got no idea what’s coming. I’m not gonna stay down in the mud when I can get to the high rise. Whatever moves you’re planning won’t matter. If these lot get their way, you’ll just have to fall in line.

A tense silence falls. It’s broken by Lena’s phone buzzing.

(Lena): [To Dimitry] Get out.

(Dimitry): I’m going…but don’t shoot the messenger, yeah? I’m doing you a favour.

(Lena): Mmhm, and I’m the fucking pope.

Tillman estate had once been social housing, but due to shoddy upkeep and the local council going bankrupt, it fell into disrepair, making it uninhabitable for those who needed it most. What had once housed a lively and close-knit community, now felt haunted by the ghost of its former residents, a monument to the often-failed working class. In truth, it was alien to Lena. Her childhood was one of idyllic suburbia, where things seemed too good to be true and often were. In another life, this glimpse into her father’s upbringing may have inspired sympathy or at least added some context to the way he was. Instead, it filled Lena with a familiar dread, the kind typically expressed by horror protagonists opening a door you know seals their fate.

(ROY): Your lot never could take a joke. I can tell you’re on one today so I’ll make this quick. Just because you’re living in your brother’s penthouse, it doesn’t mean you’re him. you know full well that there’s a proper way to do things.

(ROY): Regardless. It’s best not to piss off the powers that be. So I’m gonna do you a favour. You’ll continue doing jobs with Dimitry here and I’ll do my best to still any waves your continued presence could make.

(ROY): Collections…security nothing too crazy. Pay’s 10%.
