it's been a minute since i got a chance to properly rewatch the show. pleased to announce that i still love it just as much

yes i am still thinking about georgelucy and roryjess connections but this time i’ve been reading the book and these lines are knocking me out because of how insane they’re making me. it is just perfect to me, lucy behaving and building herself around the way she sees other people acting and deceiving everyone including herself, she bathed in the lake too until she was caught, if she lived the way she played life would be very interesting for her and them too indeed. that rory really doesn’t know what love is or how to define it, that throughout her entire love life she grapples with saying it and what it’s supposed to mean. her mom said she loved her dad and— what? she never gets to finish the sentence. he didn’t stay? it wasn’t enough? but she’s supposed to say it, and she’s supposed to love dean, and she’s supposed to love logan, and what’s the difference anyway. but she never tells jess she loves him, she gets close, i think i may have loved you, but its still vague. and isnt that more telling than i can’t help it, i’m in love with him! and i love dean and dean is my boyfriend and he’s going to be my boyfriend forever! and then you have george and jess far freer and independent but still lonely still melancholy still silent and dour. because the universe wouldn’t fit! i wanna be good life’s just not letting me! SAD BOY! WHAT’S WRONG?

I only know about vague details of that manga from researching hylia for another Zelda story thing, Zelda's main anger in my version of the au comes from after the second dungeon, hearing from Fi that link was tied up there (I'm even thinking of writing a Fic for that from links pov) really pissed her off, she absolutely cut ghirahim off to call him a coward for hurting her friend and then not fighting her as she comes to protect him, she's essentially trying to insult him enough that he'll fight her which Fi thinks is a very bad idea

Yeah, I read the manga a while ago because I finally got curious enough to see if there was a version online for free (there was) and I was, disappointed, I guess. I'd seen people make such a big deal over it and it's characters and it just fell flat. Not even in the it didn't meet high expectations thing, it just didn't seem like a very fleshed out story. It felt like we got dropped in the middle and missed the entire first half and just, didn't really work all that well. Nothing against it or those who like it, it just, misses too many marks for me. Not my thing.

And yes! The Earth Temple and that chain! Oh, my Zelda is also furious at that. She walks in as Ghirahim starts talking to interrupt him. "Get down here bitch, I'm gonna kick your ass!" Which... completely throws Ghirahim off. He had this whole monologue and this girl just shows up, interrupts him, and is pointing her sword at him demanding he fight her. After a long moment he just decides to ignore that and finish his monologue. Zelda lets him and then demands he fight her again.

She actually misses Link and Impa by even more than Link did because after she beats the boss she spends a few minutes shouting into empty air for Ghirahim to get out here and fight her, coward!

If she weren't so focused on finding and saving Link and getting him his sword, she'd be demon hunting. She's out for blood and is not shy about it. (It's part of the reason Ghirahim is convinced she's the Hero and Link is Hylia. The Spirit Maiden wouldn't so willingly endanger herself, right? WRONG. Ghirahim hurt Link and therefore must pay and she aims to collect! Get out here asshole, she's got a sword and plans to use it to stab him!)

Very pleased to know we're on the same page of 'Zelda finds out Link was in chains and interrupts the evil monologue to demand Ghirahim fight her and is pissed when he won't'.

SORRY IM ANNOYING AND ASKING YOU THIS BUT ITS BEEN ON MY MIND ILY 💓💓💓

ok so bc I’m actually White too and I actually need to be more educated on that stuff too,,, I can’t really say,, so I asked a Korean friend of mine and she said this:

“ i’ve never heard anyone saying that singing along is appropriating, bc youre just singing along to the lyrics but that’s just that bc you’re listening to the music and following along??? but then … it’s different when ur using korean in ur everyday speech bc it’s “cute” or something, but my korean friend brings up a good point that “if a rap song had N word in it, would you sing along?” the answer is no bc u are not black and therefore u cannot use it…….so i guess as long as ur not singing along to something offesnive or someting u cannot take part of as a korean… i guess it’s not a bad thing” 

However, that’s just only her view and it doesn’t represent all Koreans!!
