i think it sucks how huge the proportion of Popular Media People Follow is overwhelmingly just american stuff. 4% of the world's population should not be the focus of 90% of its media
#personal crap#but yeah if you illustrated how much Internal media is from where it's like 90% american 5% japanese maybe 3% british and 2% everywhere els#and this is coming from probably the second worst country for that lmao#maybe third worst depends on where you place japan#just a kind of 'maybe consider how much the world revolves around you' statement#this isn't meant to be a personal attack if you're a usamerican reading this#*international#which i think is a real shame#it's nice that more east asian media is getting big ofc but i wish it was happening more and faster#and from more places. how do none of us outside it know a brazilian series yk?
