Steve: [gets that smug confident look he gets when he’s about the make a blatant move before he remembers what Robin said about what happens if she risks telling the wrong girl about her and visibly mentally buffers for a second as he realizes flirting with a guy is more complicated than his usual be as obvious and direct and possible approach he goes for with girls all the time]

Steve: Don’t worry about it

Robin: [goes on a whole facial journey in Steve’s line of sight but standing behind Eddie as she realizes exactly what Steve freezing and then suddenly pretending he’s ever heard of subtlety means and that there’s only one guy that might have opened his eyes in that direction during this whole mess and she goes wide eyed but she’s grinning all smugly and then mouths oh my god at him]

Steve: Shut up

Eddie (visibly concerned and confused): I didn’t say anything.

Steve: Not you. Her.

Eddie: [turns and looks confused at Robin]

Robin: [shoots Eddie the least convincing innocent smile ever]

Eddie: Okay, then…

Robin (the moment Eddie turns to catch up with Nancy and leave them to whatever silent communication he’s missing between them): Oh, we are so talking about this later.
