You were right. I was never going to go to Africa. This room will seem empty without my gear.
Happy Holidays!
playing detective.
“Okay, so,” he started as he walked into the living room of Al’s flat. “We had the list before, this was the one from last September, I think. Right after I got...you know,” he waved it off, since he still didn’t like talking about it, and handed it to Al. “Anyway, that was the one from the first meeting. You’ve had more people join in the last year and a half, but at least we don’t have to start at square one building a completely new list. I mean, you’ve people join, but no one’s left, so we just have to add to it.”
Dylan sat across from him, looking down at the list in question, his name written at the top beneath Al, Scorp and Orion’s. “And we’ll just figure out what the fuck I’m telling Zabini as far as members go.” He let out a breath and fell silent for a moment, lost in his thoughts. “You lost the list at my flat during the DA party, right?” He looked over at him. “I know you were drunk off your ass and most of us were, but if we could figure out who was there that night, it might help us because I seriously think someone’s playing double agent.” He shook his head and leaned back in the chair, “We had a charm on our door that night. No one but DA members could get in. If that’s where you lost it, either someone found a way around that, or someone from the GA or Crimson Allies is playing us. I’m leaning towards the second unless someone in the GA isn’t telling Zabini they have it for some reason, which is plausible, I guess, since most of them aren’t loyal to anyone but themselves.”
