Up until now, your text conversations have consisted of just memes and silly pictures, with the occasional mundane questions about homework, but you thought you’d change it up a bit one night.

S/O: I have so much homework to do, but I keep getting distracted thinking about you ;)

Normally the boy was thrilled at the prospect of flirting, but reading the message left him a little dumbfounded. Were you really flirting with him? He was usually the one making you laugh by sending you a dumb line he’d stumbled upon that day, but you’d actually sent him something cute.

There never really was any pick-up lines or flirting involved at the start of your relationship. Everything was pretty formal, but after being together for a few months, there needed to be a little change. The muted phone gently vibrated on the nightstand. Without any delay, Tokoyami picked it up and checked who the message was from. Realizing it was from you, he quickly unlocked his phone to read the full message. To be honest, he tried to, but the last 4 words caught his attention right away.
