I love how DJ's parents acknowledge his feelings in a way like we already knew how you felt about this girl, it is you that is just NOW knowing! (But you still gonna get this lesson.) DJ might be more like his father than he thinks - with a ride or die heart just really for Amaya. I didn't vote in the poll, but I'm so glad you are doing this chapter on DJ's story arc.

OKAY! SO! Instead of something like "that makese sense" or "I know", Darren just simply acknowledges and affirms his son's feelings. He AND Indya knew from jump that Amaya was the one, just like you said. Indya made sure she was invited to the anniversary dinner AND the graduation party. Indya and Darren are WISE in their years!!
