I love the plot point of Vaggie wanting to change her name actually. I think it's a nice way to address her lack of sense of self and wanting to find her own identity.

I can either see her keeping it in the end, as a way of reclaiming it for herself (and tbh she did change the pronunciation of it) or the new name being Vagatha as a callback to her old name from the pilot/pre pilot days, with keeping Vaggie as a nickname.

Previous rb I know I’m like the biggest rpf is fine-r in the world and I do stand by that but that is also the basic reason as to why I do not believe most rpf… I do have a couple of rpf situations I believe are (or at least could be) more than just that and that something happened but like 98% of the time homosocial behaviour that is taken as evidential is mostly just a manifestation of misogyny. And I think that’s especially true getting down to old man rpf… just my two cents

I feel like a lot of people miss the point with samira and being slow in the emergency room. I’ve seen several posts about how her being slow is good and the other doctors just don’t get it. yes she’s right to care about her patients and take some extra time to learn more so she can help better. and her dedication to researching and countering discrimination in healthcare is important and admirable. collin’s is right to say she shouldn’t be called slo-mo and that she shouldn’t always listen to robby. but robby was also right. as much as she helped joyce by listening to and advocating for her, she also could have killed her by waiting so long to tell her she needed to be intubated and then by trying to give her and her wife extra time to talk beforehand. she isn’t helping turnover rate and is possibly endangering other patients by not getting to them and she’s hurting her own education by avoiding cases that could result in her having to face the possibility of mistakes and/or loss. (the very thing she tells dennis to not do!) she’s a complex and flawed character. which I love! let her be that
