Thank you for over 100 followers! :o *hugs every one of you*
And I want to thank everyone who supported me this year!! Every single positive comment (and tag :D) made my day better and encouraged me to keep drawing ♡ You are all so kind and I'm so glad there are people who enjoy my art xx
Long Winded Anon is here and all's well, I'm convinced by this new arc that, without Sokka around, Chan might've been Azula's best match since he's too boneheaded to rule and she could very easily encourage that incompetence to where he turns to her for help all the time. Her other suitors seem less easy to control, not that she couldn't do it. Hm, actually, the less easy to control ones would make it harder for clever outsiders to pick up on her puppetry, unlike a fool who's obviously a puppet.
xD interesting insight, yep, but Chan’s got some self-preservation instincts in Gladiator that Sokka distinctly lacks (?)
Meaning, had Azula simply showed up at his doorstep and said “HEY THERE, WE’RE ENGAGED!”, he probably would’ve run away from home and become a hermit just to avoid marrying her at all xD Azula definitely went for an overkill with him, by doing what she did: after the Beach’s incident there’s no way Chan would’ve wanted to marry her.
That being said, it’s true enough that he might have been the easiest puppet-husband to control? Yet I raise you to a BETTER appropriate match yet for Azula, one who could have married her without her immediately rejecting him, who would have known more than enough about her biggest secret (Sokka xD) and not outed her for it, who would likely be very willing to let Azula rule through him while also maintaining enough of his own integrity and common sense that people wouldn’t think he’s just a puppet...
... and that’s Rui Shi xD
I was just going over the festivals’ arc again, pretty much by accident as I looked for some stuff in the story. I wound up at the scene when Ozai assumes she’s involved with Rui Shi, and I couldn’t stop laughing. Azula admitting later that, if Rui Shi hadn’t been so quick to deny it, they could’ve made the most of it, was just so sad xD oh, so much drama could have been avoided in the far future if only she’d married Rui Shi...
I... thought of... Evangel sister location.... but with the like... the familiars me and other people have made... as the animatronics...

Here you see the infamous “Rabs” and “White Death,” both rather dangerous in their own respects. Especially to familiars ;3
