I love love love this title because there are so many different ways you could interpret it.

I think for a fic with this title, I’d love to write something where Padmé goes missing or something and Anakin is put into this horrible position where he’s really worried about her, but he’s desperately trying to make it seem like nothing’s wrong.

Of course, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka see that he’s upset and know that it’s because of what happened. But Palpatine’s pulling the strings too, and he’s forced to move a lot of things forward to push Anakin over the edge.

And with Palpatine in his ear and the stress of not knowing what’s happening to Padmé (along with some not-so-good dreams), Anakin would probably feel like he’s being pulled in so many directions, and, well…

Things go sideways :)
