Recently, just recently, I had been talking to someone about religion. About God and the good things that he could potentially give to me in my soul and existence.

And was told that the Void does not exist.

I find that view...wrong.

For the Void is neverending, stretching, and whispering. It calls and calls and I am compelled to answer as there are creatures of myth and legend to beckon me out to the vast forest.

Until I cease.

Until my body is released.

And when I become nothing but an essence of nostalgia and familiarity...

I shall allow myself to be uttered on mortal lips again.

But I am unable to do so in this casing of flesh and organs, my mortal body is shackled to the Earth and mankind.

I yearn deep inside to shed this life and return to the darkness which lulled me to sleep.

I wish for my mind to know peace in its loving darkness, away from ridicule and woe.

But I can't do it...and I shall remain.
