I hate having my room touched without my consent. Like, what do you mean you came into my territory and switched it up different? This is my territory??? It's now different??? It's not yours??? The fuck???

Same applies to entering my room without my permission. Like, excuse me? This is my territory, get out. This is mine. Ask if you want to come in, thank you.

I am very territorial and don't like people going into my room, especially my stuff, without my permission. ^w^

@sapphireswimming, I just want you to know that you are a wonderful person, and I am blaming you for providing me with this prompt: Stakeout - A member of the paparazzi becomes increasingly frustrated during their stakeouts of the home of billionaire Vlad Masters, but realizes that it’s finally about to pay off when they can hear someone talking inside. I thought it would be a fun prompt. A bit of humour, maybe, but something short and sweet. It devolved. 

Me at 1K: Okay, still patchy, haven’t quite gotten to the point, but sure, that’s fine, I’ll probably wrap it up at 2K. Me at 2K: Getting there. Pretty close. Under 3K for sure. Me at 6K: *squinting* I think you’re done now, but how...how did you get from that prompt...to that place. Especially when I almost never rely so much on OCs, and this entire story is told from the perspective of an OC. 

You’ll have to pry Harriet Cane from my cold, dead hands now. But hopefully I’ll have time to edit her story tomorrow. It’s probably my last one of the Phight.

“Mr. Masters? I’m Falyn Rayne, a huge fan, and I was wondering—”

“No comment,” he said, beginning to close the door.

She stuck her foot in the jamb. “I’m sorry, sir, but it’s not like that, really. I spoke with the Fentons earlier, and they raved about your earlier work in paranormal studies. I know you’ve left the field behind, but I was hoping to talk to you about how the field has changed, especially given the breakthroughs here in Amity Park in recent years.”

His eyes narrowed, but all he said was, “I’m afraid I haven’t the time. Good day, Ms. Rayne.”

“Please—”

She hadn’t moved her foot, but suddenly the door closed, and she drew back despite herself.

She prodded at it tentatively, but it was as solid as ever. As it should be. Because it was a door.

Except the door shouldn’t have closed when she knew her foot had been keeping it open.
