Well.... yeah that was a mess. Info dump that could’ve been revealed earlier I feel (tho it seems they wanted it to amplify Henrik’s feelings specifically now). The trafficking background makes sense with the abandonment and intimacy issues and I’m glad they didn’t have Sacha right and him being lying about it. Also his outbursts.... I kinda lol’ed at his freak-out in theatre. He’s so obviously mentally ill you guys. Hanssen I can understand not seeing it, but Jac?
As frustrating as it is, I guess I can see everyone dithering while the car crashes. I mean he has Hanssen’s full confidence and they all hold him in high regard because even though Fredrik was technically his fault, he never asked him to come to Holby or showed any specific confidence in him. And Hanssen has yet to spectacularly fuck up at all as a leader (historically all his crises are kinda lame and political).
Meena? Just get up on the fucking table on Keller and read off dot-points, seriously. Or, y’know, take Zav’s mum as a starting point. She doesn’t have the same experiences with Hanssen as the others, she’s got nothing tying her down.
Then there’s the whole Abigail thing. What the shit? Is this a behind-the-scenes issue? Olivia Poulet is awesome and Abigail was cool. I don’t want Hanssen back in power. Shake it up guys.
Jac shoving John around? HAHAHA YES. God that felt good. She’s just the right size to get some real welly into it. She gets so close to hitting people sometimes, it’s refreshing to see her get physical. Last time it was Fran I wanted her to deck and she flipped it by getting her to strike out instead. Clever, but disappointing.
