Ro rolled her eyes, the rest of the muscles on her face unamused and unmoving, used to the mercurial airs Malachite put on, a whirlwind of emotions. Just moments before, he’d asked her opinion on the affairs of the night prior, and now he was curtly brushing her off. “Oh, fuck off,” she replied, pushing herself off of the corner of the desk she’d been sitting on. “I’m not sitting here for my health. I dare that fucker to get too close. I can get to the point or get out, but if you want the former, you’d best find some room in your whirlwind to sweet talk me. I accept tributes in the form of bourbon, hand crafted leather, or a make good for sometime when you actually manage to make an elixir I’m interested in taking,” Ro snarked back. She actually had a fondness for Mal, but she wasn’t less curt with him than with most. She also didn’t mind the elixirs, but none really interested her. Trouble was, she wasn’t sure just what he could make that would help ease the sting of living more than bourbon and blood could.
