Things have calmed down, in a way -- At least, now his thoughts are bit clearer and he isn’t spending his days terrified for Rowan’s well being. She’s home, she’s safe, she’s no longer hooked up to an IV. He can take a moment to breathe again, let his thoughts clear and remind him of the rest of the chaos brewing around him. Namely, Reina. News of her latest stunt found him easily, with a prospect who’s name he couldn’t remember showing up to Rowan’s hospital room to sheepishly ask him where to hide a body. And with the messages Knox had sent him, he couldn’t help but find himself piecing together a puzzle he didn’t want placed in front of him. He knew Reina was violent -- For fucks sake, she killed some poor girl for sleeping with her husband, it wouldn’t be a long shot to think she’s responsible for Allana’s near demise, too. He tried to put the thought out of his head, reminding himself why he was here.
He finds himself at her door step once he know’s Rowan is okay on her own, leaving her curled up on the couch with Scout and a movie. He knocks as he enters, the adrenaline of confronting her for her actions pushing him into her home with spare key on his key-ring. Reina had done plenty of questionable things in the past, and he’d done even worse -- But this? This was reckless, this was crossing lines that were drawn for a reason. “Reina,” he calls out, dropping his keys on the front vanity, hanging his cut on the coat rack. He was sure the kids were home given the season, but right now, he wasn’t particularly concerned about keeping them shielded from the truth. “We need to talk.” He calls out again, his tone making his mood and the reason for this visit clear. “Now.”
