Chimney sets Hen up on a blind date with Karen. At the time, Karen was his neighbor at his (old) apartment building.
Hen is the first person to figure out that Bobby and Athena are dating, and wishes she had thought to set them up earlier, seeing their chemistry together.
Additionally, Bathena’s first meeting is at a call with a chicken. (I know it’s a rooster, not a hen, but just give me that one). Hen is also there at this call.
Bobby fights to get Eddie to take a position at the 118, specifically to be Buck’s partner on the job.
The team then ogles Eddie (queue Whatta Man) in the locker room and everyone besides Buck, the only person in the group actually attracted to men, comment on his objective attractiveness.
Buck introduces Maddie and Chim when they (and Eddie) are helping Maddie move into her new apartment. She immediately says that he’s cute to Buck, which Buck interprets as her saying Eddie’s cute, because that’s what everyone at the 118’s been saying (hence the “yeah, he gets that a lot” line).

"Okay, so I need you to go with me on this." Eddie says as he walks back over to the couch, handing Buck a beer.
Which is so nice to be able to do. They can't pass each other a beer when there's 800 plus miles between them. But right now, there's not. Because Buck is here. In El Paso.
Sure, it's only for a few days, a small visit, but he's here and Eddie keeps smiling every time he realizes he can reach over and touch Buck. Has done just that, only to have Buck laugh at him and remind him that yeah, he's really here.
"Absolutely." Buck nods, taking a sip of his beer, "What am I going on you with?"
"We're not riding a carnival ride or anything, Buck." Eddie snorts. Okay, they've had a few beers. Both are teetering on tipsy. But they're happy and together and it's nice.
"You're the one that brought it up!"
"I haven't even brought it up yet."
"Oh," Buck's face scrunches, "What is it?"
Eddie takes a breath, "I swear my house is haunted."
Buck lasts maybe five seconds before he's laughing. It's full bodied. Eddie has to snatch back the beer before it topples to the ground as Buck bends over himself, laughing. Loudly.
Eddie can feel his own lips wanting to twitch up into a smile, but he stays firm. This is serious business!
"Buck!" Eddie kicks a foot out at Buck's, his best friend continuing to laugh at him. "Come on, this is serious!"
"Y-you th-think there's g-ghosts in y-your h-house!" Buck gets out between giggles, his blue eyes glittering with tears of mirth. "You! The m-most sceptical p-person I know!"
"Fuck off." Eddie pouts, slouching down in his seat, cradling both beers to his chest. "This is my beer now. I'm keeping it hostage."
"What? No!" Buck makes grabby hands, "Gimmie my beer back!"
"Nope," Eddie shakes his head, "It's mine. The ghosts decided it's now mine."
Apparently that won't do for Evan Buckley.
He pushes himself to his feet, wobbling for a second before he steps carefully around the coffee table. Then he raises his hands up on either side of him, spinning slowly, "Oi! Ghosts! Leave my Eddie alone! This is his house!"
There's an adorably put out expression on Buck's face as he keeps yelling at the ceiling.
"If you don't leave him alone, I'll...I'll...I'll kick your ass!"
"How are you going to kick a ghost's ass? Your foot will go right through it."
"Not the time, Edmundo."
"So sorry, Evan."
"Stop haunting my Eddie!" Buck declares, "But tell him to give me my beer back before you go! You hear me?!"
Eddie giggles, flushed with warmth at being called Buck's. "You’re cute when you’re angry."
Buck falls heavily back onto the couch, "I'm not angry."
"You just yelled at the ghosts."
"Because they told you to take my beer away."
"Well," Eddie hands Buck his beer back, their fingers lingering together for a beat too long, "You're cute. Angry or not."
"And you're not haunted. Not anymore." Buck smiles, "I told them off."
