Monday already. I woke up feeling a lot of dread for the workday and the workweek because I’ve got something kinda big due this week. The last time I did one of these types of projects (which was also the first time I did one of these projects) I got very little feedback from my manager despite asking for it, and then I got publicly belittled and criticized for the work I did both in front of internal and external parties. So, I think I’ve developed an aversion. I’m just putting my best foot forward and trying to channel the mantra that you cannot fear a task on which you’re making progress. So far so good.

I’ve been craving strawberries like nuts lately, which is funny because they’re one of my least favorite berries. The little creature in my belly must like them. 😜🍓

I had to run an errand on my lunch today and I stopped and grabbed a bowl from chipotle. Holy crap. It’s been so long since I’ve had one but it was so good. I ate half for lunch today and saved half for tomorrow. Brown rice, black beans, barbacoa, pico, corn salsa, sour cream, cheese and guac. Yes please and thank you.

I’m done work now and have a little headache. Gonna try and chill for a bit before making dinner. Maybe do some more crocheting. Grilled chicken, cilantro and lime rice, and veggies are on the menu tonight.
