rare perfect peel from the can opener bridge today, beautiful 10/10
got stuck at a light
I appreciated this video about the [in]famous low-clearance bridge, which interviewed someone from the DoT, showed changes made to reduce accidents, et cetera. It's in the documentary style, but not at the documentary length.
(If you consistently don't like videos, this is IMO not worth overriding your aversion to watch, I just quite liked it.)
I love the confidence that some of the drivers who hit the 11foot8 bridge have. did these truck drivers see a red light and a low bridge, with a sign, and think not only "I can get under that bridge" (spoiler alert: they can not) but also "I could drive through this red light at a high speed to get under that bridge"? Yes yes they did
i can't find other post, but the 11foot8 bridge bridge has been raised a couple times and is now 12'4". (11foot8+8)

You know the can opener bridge? I once saw an image of the old barrier from before they raised it next to the new one and the old one was deeply fucked up. I want to see it, can anyone help. Pretty sure it was in a yt video.
Today I found out that The Canopener Bridge has its own website where it sELLS THE DEBRIS FROM FEEDINGS AS ART https://11foot8.com/
babe wake up, another rental truck has been fed to the 11foot8 bridge again
