Two women, one seen from behind, wearing organdy dresses embroidered with lace by Piéplu. A mantilla by Blonde (bobbin lace). Crêpe hats decorated with ribbons and flowers. Boots made of poil de chèvre (chicken poultice). Other accessories: earrings, gloves, and a checked fan. Print from the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes (1797-1839).
