Hello Cold, Snow and Christmas.

Well, we got out first snow of the winter this past week.  Yep, my back is still aching from shoveling.  I wonder if I could rent a blow torch on snow days.  What a fun and easy way to clear out the snow around my house.  Plus if we had the kids put some hotdogs on sticks we would have a quick and easy dinner. Who can resist a hotdog cooked by an open fire?  I still can't figure out why these trucks push the snow into weird spots.  I'd prefer the snow pushed out of my way, not into my driveway.  I wonder if I made a pilgrimage and placed a mailbox in the tomb of the unknown snowplow driver they might cut me a break next time it snows?  (It's just a thought.)  So far I've watched a few Hallmark Christmas movies.  My wife is not a fan but as I told her, I need to watch a movie with a happy ending once in a while.  Now, this has happened to me twice in the past month.  I've sat down and watched one of those Dateline or 20/20 programs.  They were murder mysteries that had been investigated.  So I'm drawn into the story and crime.  I'm waiting to have it all revealed as to what happened to this woman who disappeared or the guy who was murdered.  I had spent two hours of my life I'd never get back and they close the show with.  We haven't figured this whole mystery out yet.  We think this person may have just wandered off to start a new life or something.  Oh and this murdered fella, we have some suspicions but no one wants to talk to the police.  What a wasted Dateline program.  If you don't have something solved, wait until you do before you broadcast some lame-O program.  Nice job Columbo.  I know the world has been crazy for a good period.  I do believe this will straighten out.  I know I want to go back to a world where I can go bowling twice a week. It'll happen.  Fingers crossed you'll be able to attend a holiday get together this festive season.  We all deserve a party to let our hair down.  Just not our pants.
