To Andy ‘and now it’s official’ Sugden.

Today it became official. Andy became a Sugden. And Robert didn’t cause any waves, only mentioning a battering in a way that the judge thought it was a joke. The Sugdens celebrate at the diner (it was all on Kathy). A guilty Sarah decided to end things with Richie but Scott finds them snogging at the end.

Judge: I believe adoption is often a more profound process than natural birth. My view may be jaundiced but it seems that producing a child is often done with less thought than buying a car or a carpet. Adoption… is different. You have to answer difficult questions. You have to be sure. And in the case of an older child, HE has to be sure.

Andy: I am.

Judge: And what do you think… Robert? It affects you and your sister, too.

Robert: Not a problem. Maybe they can batter him as well as me now.

Judge: You obviously have a sense of humor.

Jack: If that’s what you can call it.
