One of these days I'll write a manifesto on the meaning of "fuck it" mode

I'm really glad I'm not working at the jail on Friday, December 21. 

I have a feeling that a lot of people will go into "fuck it" mode on Thursday, December 20 thinking they have nothing to lose by doing stupid things (like breaking the law) because they think the world will end the next day and they won't have to face any consequences for their actions.

For what its worth, I tend to operate in "fuck it" mode a lot myself, but instead of breaking the law or acting out, my modus operandi is passive aggression.

I'm kind of a dick, but that's something I'll touch upon another time.

Anyway, I'd be lying if I said I had no desire to go to the jail to check the booking sheets to see what charges defendants face the morning of the 21st.
